[Q] Fastboot Window Disappearing - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

I'm trying to flash the Tigris v1.2.1 kernel to my Neo L which is already rooted and unlocked BL. I have all the ADB drivers properly installed in my Win XP machine. Everytime I try to flash the said kernel using fastboot, the command prompt for fastboot quickly disappears. I've been trying and re-trying for the nth time, to no avail. This is so frustrating. Anyone know the fix or workaround to this? Appreciate your help.

How exactly are you trying to flash? By opening fastboot?

Try renaming the file Tigris v1.2.1 with anything else. I renamed it to vv and it worked for me.

Which XRecovery. I googled and found all Xrecoveries for X8,X10 etc. None for XperiaS. Do those work for Xperia S?

Installing cwm is possible only by flashing a pre rooted kernel through command prompt using fastboot method.

ROM Manager
hi,
yes, it works, indeed (LT26i 4.0.4)! And in opposite to RecoveryX. Fortunately now I can get into recovery mode but is it compatible with ROM Manager from CWM? Because for me it seems not.

Fastboot drivers again

I tried installing the drivers that came with flashtool and it worked but only when using flashtool. So if I want to unlock the bootloader, which I am currently trying to do, I have to go to the folder which contains the drivers. Where's that? If not I'll be limited to stock kernels and certain roms. Help will be appreciated thanks

Argh Idk whats going on. When I tried going into fastboot mode it still tells me that the drivers are not installed. Thinking back, when I was flashing the stock Sony kernel for rooting using flashtool Im not actually sure it got into fast boot. I just plugged it in and it started flashing. So I dunno. I've already disabled driver enforcement as suggested in the other thread but I still can't seem to install. When I go into device manager and tried updating drivers, pointing it to the location with the USB drivers it told me it couldn't find any suitable drivers >< Please help thanks!

HELP Xperia U Root

Howdo all,
After finally sucessfully rooting my One S my girlfriend decided i needed to do her Xperia U.
However i seem to be hitting even more road blocks now....ive tried the "ROOT MANY ANDROID" method and the NOOB PROOF xperia U method..
on the second method i was told i would need to flash an earlier kernel for it to work "ICS 6.1.1.B.1.10"
having scoured the internet for this item im convinced it no longer exsists, but i found one but it appears its for the Sola and not the U which i unfortunately didnt notice until after i installed it ( i was just happy something was working) and now the phone won't turn on, it vibrates when the power button is held but i get no feedback from the screen.
So my question is, is this phone bricked? or is there a method i can try? or does anyone perhaps have the kernel for ICS 6.1.1.B.1.10 that i can try and flash
Thanks in advance.
ok it gets worse, i have got it working....buttttttt because i was just trying to get the phone working again i have installed the jelly bean port from the xperia p which as you can imagine is fun to look at but is unusable....
so i desperately need to get back to ice cream sandwich but im struggling to find a boot.img and kernel for this dammed phone....please HELP!
I don't know how you can't find anything there's loads of posts about with official firmware in -

is that not going to be in Italian? plus i need gingerbread or ics i think...i'm still not actually rooted yet, thats how this problem began i was trying to downgrade back to 6.1.1.B.1.10 because the "noob-proof root" would only work on that kernel.
now it seems not only do i need that kernel i also need to find the boot.img associated with that kernel...

You only had to try and see if it worked with your current setup! It would work but now you are bricked I believe. You have the screen drivers from sola so you won't be able to do something

Search the forum for 'cwm for locked bootloader v2', read instructions and then install, you can unlock bootloader and then install custom kernel but you have not unlocked it yet as far as I can tell, so the cwm for locked bootloader method will be easier.

I wiped everything... and found out that ROM can't be installed...

Hi there.
I got a quite serious problem as I recently wanted to flash CyanogenMod 11 on my Xperia Sola.
The problem is I downloaded it, placed on pseudo-SD card and wiped everything. Then, when I tried installing the rom it gave me an error of "assert failed" crap...
Mounting USB does not work and Windows cannot install drivers (even with PC Companion on).
I think I just broke my phone... It's stuck on Sony logo all the time and I can't even get into CWM now... [email protected]#!k.
Help please? :/
