Hi all,
I am a newbie @ Android application development, and still trying to learn. I have one question. If we take for example, the Greenify app, if i look into its memory consumption, the value is quite low (3.4MB +-) whereas, with my app, it always hover around 20MB or so. I wonder, how can i achieve the same result? Anybody can help? My application is a simple monitoring app for my client company, contains 2 services, 3 Activities (1 service and Activity for saving the account into the device). And even in fresh state, the memory always takes around 20MB.
Thanks for any info
Is it at all possible to just, like, get non-country specific search results? Each time I look for something, or just dare to browse around Google Play, I am swarmed by ****ty app ports with 1-2k downloads by the Croatian devs. I know there's the Market Enabler, but I don't really need that level of spoofing, I just want to customize my search results to weed out local crap
I tried to look at the settings and couldn't find anything. Honestly, it's beyond me how the owners of such a ridiculously advanced search engine managed to create a high-profile app store with such ****ty app sorting!
Sorry if the question has already been asked and or answered but I have been looking and maybe I just don't know what to search for.
I have Verizons Samsung S3
SCH-I535
Android: 4.1.2
I am looking for an app (paid or free) I can install on my device that has the ability to track via gps, and either turn on or off the microphone with the ability to take pictures via camera OR use the video camera (with sound of course)
Thank You for any responses
Try any one of the popular security apps currently out...such as... Lookout, Avast, Norton, NQ, AVG, not sure but MAYBE McAfee, Avira, Webroot, B-Secure Tracker, QuickHeal Mobile Security, Vipre, TrackMyDroid, GPS Tracking Pro, GRIP Security, CMC, Symantec, 12Track..... Again that is just a FEW of whats available lol....and so ya know EVERY SINGLE one of these tracking/security apps can be found in the Google Play Store... I hope that this helped ya put in someway bubba...take care
Thanks

iKeyMonitor is worth trying
iKeyMonitor is a great invisible spy app for Android. It offers free version for testing. I suggest you have a try!:victory:
I need a download link.
Hi everbody,
I released my first game on Android recently, but I have no idea how Google Play organises its search results.
The game is called 'Get to Zero' by Will Wu and it doesn't show up as the first result when you type it in Google Play search.
Like wth? I've read up on it and it seems that Google Play also includes the app description as part of the search. That's not really fair is it considering the thing I'm searching for perfectly matches the title of the app.
The only way to search for my game seems to be adding my name at the end of the search i.e. 'get to zero will wu'. I imagine what could be the case is the name of my game includes very common words 'get' and 'to' which Google Play might filter as part of the search .
So I'd like to ask, how does one increase ASO for something like this?
Any help is much appreciated!
I also have a thread on XDA for the game here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/game-to-zero-youve-played-puzzle-game-t3108522 if you want to give feedback
So as the title suggest, basically I installed this app since it seemed to have high ratings in the Play Store (4.7 stars averaging from 13.5k people) and claims to boost performance of any device that is rooted for gaming. It seemed safe at first glance and so ahead I had gone to installing it and when I opened it up, it asked for root permissions to which I allowed it (in Android 6.0.1 where root is supported natively). After that I was introduced to three options: 1. Ultra boost, 2. High boost, and 3. No boost? So to use the Ultra boost option, you had to use 3 credits (and you are given 3 credits for free), I thought nothing of this and so I wanted the option to have a limitless ability to the boosting option so I paid £1.55 in the options menu and after payment was successful, I wasn't actually given "unlimited credits" as I was promised, instead, the credit counter got set to 1000000. At this point I was very skeptical and had a feeling that the developer is a scam. I deleted the app and installed it again later, upon re-installing, the credits I had paid for were all gone. I am worried that maybe me giving root access to the app has given the developer access to my personal info.
I then also realised that the reason why the app had so many high ratings was due to the fact that the developer promised inside the app for people to received "5 free credits for rating the app 5 stars" in the play store. This further fuelled my suspicion and am worried. Can someone take a look at the app in the Play Store and give me their take on it's validity?
It is called "GameBooster 3" and the developer is "burakgon".
