I updated desire x to latest JB 2.20.401.5. In this release it looks like the 4x4 widget only shows the weather! So it shows up as a 4x1 widget.
In the first JB update 2.20.401.3 this widget worked well for me and u get more info on the widget!
What can be the issue?

Flowed from my HTC branded muffin...
I have more cards if i open the google now app.
But the widget only says the weather..
In the first bugged JB update it worked perfectly..
Your phone language is on english ? All need to be on english to work cards and google now.
more precise, it has to be english(US)

I currently have the HTC IME keyboard installed and it works great.
I was looking at a review of the new Droid Incredible and I was wondering if anyone has other HTC apps ported to use on the X10
Specifically:
1. HTC Contacts (that sync with Facebook) where everything is in one place
2. HTC Dialer (with easy contact search)
3. HTC Clock Widget
4. HTC Calender
5. HTC Friend Stream
and if possible the version of facebook that comes installed on the incredible.
any ideas?

Did you buy the wrong phone??!??... Seriously though.. I got my missus the HTC Legend and it's got some really great apps on it.. the clock and weather widget for a start (and the version on the Market that's like this absolutely killed my battery to had to remove..)..
also like the email and SMS widgets..

Here is link of HTC clocks. I use Flip Clock.apk. This widget almost like an original htc sense clock and weather widget. And work fine on x 10.

or you can just download an HTC rom unzip and pull out all the apps you want and install them (just thinkin')

OMG, you really think its that easy? This needs a whole framework rewrite and a full HTC ROM port and this can take months for good Developers and its not even sure anybody can make it fully working without bugs....
Taking Apps from ARC even needed some framework changes and the ARC and X10 are running both similar framework and ROMs and HTC is not even close to have a similar structure to X10 so this is hard work and long work, its not like you can just install it and are done^^
I dont know if it is a bug or a feature ...
I used the ported S-Planner (from S3) with widgets on ICS for longer time and there was also a Tasks-Widget and an Agenda-Widget also.
With XXLSJ or XWLS8 there are only 2 widgets (Mini-Daily, Month), no other widgets are visible under Touchwiz. I tried also to install the proted apk's from S3 but this freezes Touchwiz and S-Planner not wirking correctly.
Please tell me i you can see more then 2 Widgets for S-Planner on XWLS8 and do somebody know whats the Problem that this Widget are in the SPlannerAppWidget.apk but not shown in Touchwiz as selectable widget.

Nobody else the problem with the really needed widgets for S-Planner for agenda and task view ?
Because there is no other widget in tge market with can show the tasks from Activesync its only the S-Planner that i can use
Or somebody write a widget witch show the tasks from calendar.db, i am a newbie in android development but i think this could not be very hard ... or are there sonw permissions on reading calendar.db

So today i tested some other splannerappwidget.apk's but all could not be loaded.
After that i copied back the original splannerappwidget_1.0.apk (from stock XWLS8) and check the widgets and suddenly there is the needed widget 's-planner (tasks)' and full functioning. But after reboot its gone again.
Can anybody pleeeease explain me this ????
I really need the tasks-widget from S-Planner to show my Exchange-tasks in a widget because no other app can do that (i dont know why because the tasks are also all in the calendar.db but it seems to be true)

Hi.just bought sgs III 4g.
Just rooted and installed sammy based custom rom 4.1 something and noticed that i cant install dashclock.
I had it in my sgs II 4.2.2.
So is it possible to someone port it to 4.1?

Lock screen widgets were introduced in 4.2 onwards....so i dont think its possible to get dashclock on any phone running version 4.2>.

DashClock is a replacement lock screen clock widget for Android 4.2+. It also exposes additional status items called extensions.
Like Google Play says, it is for Android 4.2+

What if I don't want it on my lock screen but I just want it on my homescreen? can it be ported?
I'm looking for a 4.1 version as well for use as a homescreen widget. I get that the lock screen (why anyone would want this?) portion isn't available on 4.1 but why not the home screen widget? I love dashclock on my Nexus 10 and really want it on my S3.

Then you would have been better off buying HTC. Both beautiful widgets and fancy widgets have weather animations in paid version and sense themes are available for both. As for dialler and sms no such app exists. Please post in Q&A next time
