I can't connect My x10 mini pro to windows...it won't recognise my x10mp ..my phone only charge when connecting to pc...I tried replacing microusb port..but nothing works...anyone please help me on this..I want to root my u20I but how can I do it if pc won't recognise it at all...

Are you using the original SE usb-cable? Not all cables work on our phones, use either original SE-cable or (If I remember correctly) Samsung ones work ok too.
I have used se and samsung both.. ut still it aint detecting ....it only charges ..does nothing else....even ubuntu does not detecting the device..

First install pppwidget.
Then in Terminal.

insmod usbserial.ko
insmod option.ko
Then connect USB modem
Then connect in pppwidget
This attachments only for Fxp kernels.

i cant connect although ive done the procedure n 3g dongle is connected. i use cm7 or is this work only on cm9?

finally it found my dongle tough i have to use usb hub. but i still cant connect the network, i already set the right apn user n password

the ppp widged always show disconnected status, but i receive a playstore notification, what the hell so its working but the ppp widget status is buggy. since i have no other connection wifi off, internal gsm is automatic off when using 3g dongle.
so is there a way to keep internal gsm working to receive sms and call?
Use external power to hub( use USB Y cable) or first connect otg cable then connect hub then connect modem in hub.

Hello.
I can't connect my gs 2 to my PC via usb. It doesn't give any error message nor does the phone or the pc react in any wa to the usb connection exept the phone starts charging.
I tried: settings>storage>usb storage check mass storage.
I tryed to fis it with a console command.
I installed cm10. Same problem...
I tried formatting the sd card...
I really can't figure this out.

Sorry for doublepost. When rooting phone i lost warranty right ? So what if i unrooted it and installed a stock rom ? I did that with my previous phone the s8500 wave that ran bada and it was accepted in the shop for repairing.
Would that be an option? And is there a tutorial on how to restore the gs2 to stock?

A jig cable is not required on SE phones. Samsung phones can only be flashed using special cables, but SE provided a flashmode that always works, by turning off your phone and pressing the back-button before you plug in your usb-cable...

thanks for replaying i can't enter flashmode on my xperia ray it's get stuck at the logo screen and the phone isn't detected by the pc so i think i have to take it to someone have JTAG cable to fix the boot
I fixed such a situation with clearing the drivers from PC and using we sus or emma and flashed stock fw. Then I started again. There was something like restart after broken flash.
I never headed about a jig cable for we phones. I know it only for Samsung devices.
