There's a small bug though.... When you click the small pencil box while viewing a picture, the gallery crashes. I think its because of the lib's. I'll see if I can fix it.
Just flash the zip in recovery

I'm guessing the shutter's too slow to take HDR... As HDR is basically taking pictures at different contrast back to back very quickly, and combining them...

it takes couple of shots at different exposure but crashes later, when it seems it's going to combine the shots into one pic, so no shutter speed problem - the HDR Camera app works the same way, but works properly

No, you don't need to rename it. Just copy to system as it is and set correct permissions :thumbup:

The gallery and the camera are in the same apk. You can delete the SamsungCamera.apk if you want but the SecGallery.apk( i.e.,the samsung gallery app) will remain unless you delete it.
You can also leave the files as it is. That is if you want 2 cameras and 2 gallerys

2. Camera app got "stuck" when I switched from Back camera to Front camera... it got stuck them my phone Rebooted! But it got solved after the reboot
3. The Gallery force closes sometimes - usually when I view a picture and tap on the "three-circles" icon on the bottom left...
4. You can't set your images as Lock screen wallpapers, only your Homescreen wallpapers can be changed

Thanks - but is there any fix or workaround for my Problem number 4.... I don't want to keep multiple Gallery apps, and 4.2 Gallery is now my most favorite Gallery, so I don't want to remove it

anybody else have this problem? the default setting is 3mp and when i change it to 5mp as soon as i take a picture i get a really zoomed in pixellated picture pop up where it should be a preview of the picture i just took, if i go to the gallery it displays fine in the default one but in quickpic it shows the same image that flashes up when i took the picture, setting the quality down to 3mp fixes it but i want to use my camera as it should be used, anybody got a fix?

Have you tried changing the theme or the settings of your phone's current theme? What ROMs, themes and appearance settings are you two using?
I think this is a bug because even doing a reset its the same.
Thumbnail messed up on 5mp setting.

I've got the same problem. I posted this awhile ago, no reply. I'm using Real ICS. I've changed a few ROM versions, performed wipes, all the same.

As far as i know..
Themes, appearance does not have anything to do with camera thumbnail

Let me bump this thread: did anyone find a solution?
Let me summarize everything: I updated to ICS last week (yeah, I waited a lot ) and I found out that when I take photos at 5 MP and then try to view them on my Windows PC the pictures' thumbnails are all screwed up. Here's how they look:

When I watch the pictures on the phone, however, there's no problem at all. Also, when I upload my pictures on dropbox, I can normally see the thumbnails. It's just a Windows problem. How could I solve this?

My observation is that when you turn on scene auto on 5mp, bug exist but if you turn scene auto off then the bug is fixed

first things first, this is a 4.2.2 aosp camera dont expect it to work normal on 4.1.2 skinned android, be lucky it works at all
second, i just did photosphere without issue of focus, im running carbon 4.2.2 though...

i suggest not flashing if this is your question
there is probably 100 different backup apps on the market, choose one
or use a root file browser and just rename Gallery2.apk to Gallery2.apk.bak
your choice...

it installs along side of tw camera. so you will have both cameras and two galleries. like i stated in pevious post focus may not work properly in photosphere/panarama. but still usable. only slightly out of focus.
Okay guys, I have tested the each file on 4.1.2 TW and it works. Like they mentioned photosphere appears out of focus. The wallpaper is working excellent (Currently running right now.)

We've attached a debug APK (IgZoom-debug-only.apk) to the main post. Please install it, restart your device and then open Instagram, tap on a photo (nothing will happen) and exit Instagram. Now, email us logs either by filtering LogCat with "IgHook" or from Xposed Installer.

Working great for me, Instagram has been missing this functionality for far too long! If I have one suggestion, it'd be to include more options for launching the zoom activity. Maybe an option to hide the zoom icon (I find it slightly distracting) or long press the photo instead? It would especially be amazing if you were able to place the button next to the three-dot menu.

We are thinking on how to add direct integration to Instagram (e.g. zoom directly from Instagram).
Basically the constraint is that Instagram photos are interactive (e.g. double-tap to like a photo) and we do not want to interrupt Instagram capabilities or be interrupted by them.
Once we will find a stable way we will add it as an alternative or as an option for the user to select.

Download the apk from Link
Go to settings--> Apps-->3D Panorama
Click on Permission and enable for camera and storage
Go to camera, swipe right to get various mode, select 3D Panorama
Touch and hold the shutter button while moving your camera will take a 3D photo if the plugin is activated.
To view the 3D photo, Go to Gallery, select the photo taken and click on the 3D rectangular box above and move left, right to see the image. (tested only in stock gallery app)

I see the difference but problem is that it will work only with stock gallery and in internal storage only. If i share the pic it will be regular 2D image.
Panorama is 2D and this one give 3D effetct and not exactly the panorama as you are supposed to take a selfie or regular image of an object while moving he camera across so that it will be a 3D effect.
Example- An object placed on a table and you take a circular or semi circular photo via this or say tsking kinda video if it.

until i did not restarted there was no 3d panorama symbol while watching in gallery....after just restart in gallery all 3d panorama picture was having cube symbol and it was fantasting to view 3d pictures with beauty...Thanks additional

This app makes you feel free using Snapchat. With SnapFreedom You can save received snaps and stories, share images and videos from gallery, bypass screenshot detection, view of snaps and videos for unlimited time, spoof location or speed, use multiline captions or automatically save all chat messages. To share from the gallery, open a gallery app, select desired photo/video, click share, and choose SnapFreedom. Then, in Snapchat app, take a photo or record a video and selected file will be injected.
SnapFreedom 2.9 works with SC versions:

I've seen other snapchat mods where you have to view the story on the left in order for it to save. Does this one save if you view the stories on the right?

Just tested it and it appears not to save from the right
i have no idea how to use it. after enabling xposed modules and rebooting, viewing snap stories doesn't save. or do i have to tap on something before it save pics and stories

The best snapchat mod I've seen, works flawlessly, all snaps are saved systematically in folders with usernames. Also screenshots aren't detected by snapchat.

Make sure you've install proper version of SC. Try to reinstall it from e. g. APKMirror. All snaps are being saved automatically in /sdcard(may be internal storage)/SnapFreedom/username/, if you enable it in app settings. Discovery are not yet supported. Finally, try to grant storage permission to SC and SnapFreedom in system settings.

Also sharing is messed up
If i share a portrait image then it rotates to landscape and is zoomed in
Also can you add saving of sent snaps automatically and auto save chat messages in snapchat?

SC is rotating an image (because of its metadata) and zooming it to fill screen. Quick fix is making a screenshot of your image displayed in gallery app and sharing this screenshot. In future version I will add image editor that will let you rotate, crop images and will fix this problem. Also I will add other mentioned functionalities soon.

Everything works fine for me. Even stories from the right side are getting saved? but it would be cool if snaps and stories are saved in different folders?
