It's currenty not as featured as JBX and I probbaly won't gewt them all, as I won't to remain aa bit leaner.

Ok, it should be enough, sometime too much stuff mean to much trouble.
What's your suggestion about governor and scheduler to save battery life?

F.A.Q. - Read this before complaining!
1. This kernel works on Y or X rom?
A: It is only compatible with Touchwiz ROMs and i officially support Aliance , Omega , Echoe , XtrestoLite ROM only and users on other ROM are on their own risk and complaining about the Kernel will not be tolerated..!
2. OMG Battery Sucks...!
A: As you can imagine I don't build kernels to decrease battery life. All the battery life problems come from your apps, either Facebook, or Maps, or some Location Service being enabled etc etc. Check your damn wakelocks and fix them, the kernel is not responsible for them.
3. How do I flash this?
A: Reading the OP, theres a reason why I added instructions on it.
4. Which App is the best for Controlling the Kernel?
A: Their are many apps in the Play Store but i personally recommend TricksterMOD or FauxClock rest its on you whether which you find most comfortable.
5. Getting Random reboots..! Any Help
A: I don't answer to problems without a log. The log file is in /proc/last_kmsg. Paste it on pastie.org and link it on your post. Logcats are useless for Kernel purposes, don't bother posting them.
6. OP is arrogant, I'm gonna call the Internet Police?
A: Deal with it.
7. Which Settings are best for XYZ ROM and XYZ thing..!
A: THe Default settings of the Kernel are the best and Balanced one but you can ask other users on the thread or can discuss which settings are the best..!
8. XYZ Feature doen't work in this Kernel on XYZ ROM..! You suckass, fix it..!
A: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a fix, I can tell you I don't have the solution. If you leave now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I ignore you.
9. My Kernel settings are not sticking and i have tried almost all the fu**in apps and none works..!
A: Have you installed busybox ? No? Then kindly install it and not every busybox installation is 100% complete so kindly keep that in mind before posting and beating a dead horse in the thread...!

Boots are made for walking
Just reboot into recovery, you need to have a custom one installed. Instead pressing vol-down button (which takes you to download mode), press vol-up one.
I've had the same problem building a custom kernel. What made the difference is how we pack the kernel. @Friedrich showed me android image kitchen.
All well now

[KERNEL] KING's Kernel

I'm here with a simple but fast kernel for AOSP 4.4.2.
Download with this link you get always the latest image.
KING's Kernel Manager: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2747094 to get OTA updates
Features:
Vibration intensity tweakable
- Allows to change vibration intensity
To change value:
Code:
echo x > /sys/vibrator/pwm_value
Change x with a number between 0 and 60. 0 is the strongest, 60 is the weakest.
Dynamic management of dirty page writeback
- Based on a Christopher83 commit.
- Allows to dynamically manage the dirty page writebacks with two different intervals, one when the screen is on and another when the screen is off.
- By using a higher interval we have better performance and less battery consumption, with a very low risk of data loss.
To enable it:
Code:
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/dynamic_dirty_writeback
To disable it:
Code:
echo 0 > /proc/sys/vm/dynamic_dirty_writeback
To customize intervals (in centisecs):
Code:
echo xxxx > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_writeback_active_centisecs
echo xxxx > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_writeback_suspend_centisecs
default for active: 1500
default for suspend: 500
tested values: 3000 - 1000 , 6000 - 2000
Disabled Gentle Fair Sleepers
- Gives better performance
AIO: Don't plug the I/O queue in do_io_submit()
- 30/35% faster sd card reading
-O3 build optimization
- Gives better performance
Dynamically disable mutex spinning at high load
- Thanks to faux123
- Explanation: https://github.com/KINGbabasula/KING_kernel/commit/518201ca40774129ed9f89af9aebe9ba9ec7770d

Do people even read the OP anymore? There's even a post explaining that it's only for AOSP!
For now. That's the keyword, when it gets compatible with anything other than AOSP 4.4, then it'll be noted in the OP.
God!
On another note, nice! I'll be giving this a try later in the day.
Please system/lib/modules from AOSP 4.4 ? I give "thanks"

Got it automatically with your app, everything went dell but to be honnest I don't know what to check to give you a usefull feedback. It works very well on latest aosp that's all I can tell.
Do you have a roadmap btw ?
Hi! Good kernel i see some improvements (better battery life on a 2 year old battery), but sometimes phone restarts without reason 3-4 times a day.

I'm flashing RC2 now.
About RC1 it's really good, I like it, phone is fast and smooth. There are some minor ui glitches but I don't know if it's kernel related or rom related. No reboots so far.

Had to reinstall supersu after the kernel flash because i lost root. I was on 2.65 which patches the boot image i believe.
I reflashed supersu 2.65 and all was good.
Installed no problem and didn't lose root. Everything runs fine.
For now is very fast and stable. but i like to use kernel for 2 o 3 days to tase de perfomance. in less than 24h u can test for real.
not heather. test battery with data on. BT, wifi,WIFISHARE WORKING CORRECT.
So far so good, have had a couple of reboots. Overall it's been pretty smooth and fast though. Trying to find the perfect settings for my device.
I'm on Tapatalk, could you put link to download tab?

27 is the idle frequency when device is in deep sleep. Under working conditions device frequency cant be set at 27
@malbert16442
You will implement the governor simple_emand on GPU?
Do you have any prediction?
Thanks dude.

That was my very first post on X.D.A...so I might of got carried away (obviously. ..since I was ignored). What I want to know is should I stay on Maverick 4.5 and flash the "All other Roms" kernel or install the latest Pure Rom (6.5?) And flash the other kernel? Sorry if I didn't phrase it right before. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to say that quick remote isn't working, yesterday I flashed it but there's no apk.
Maybe because zram use LZ24 compression

When I click 2 times on a notification in the lockscreen the screen goes off

The kernel configuration is fault auditor, installed from the play store that is more current.
And animations if they work, you could spend a log?

İn lockscreen settings is written double tap anywhere to sleep, and it works only when i double tap on an incomed notification (ex. Whatsspp).
Animations work everywhere except on general settings and in some other sub settings.
Do you need a logcat?
İ also installed kernel adiutor bet there are the same thinks like in that one preinstalled.

Is xposed compatible with this ROM?
Today heavy use WiFi and mobile data always active, screen brightness average 40% (a lot of shadowgun deadzone and a little minecraft, some videos, whatsapp, facebook, and nearby 20min calls).
I'm now at 6% (mpdecision increases min freq at 1200mhz, so this phone can do much better tough. For now there aren't other hotplugs)

Hello, this ROM is also compatible with the version D722J and D722K? Thank you!

Is Quickremote suposed to be working? It's not on my device. The app crashes when i try to open it and the icon itself is just the android symbol, and not Quickremote's symbol.
