So I just installed bamf forever 1.0.4 and the new lock screens that have the 4 shortcut icons at the bottom aren't appearing. So basically the lock screen just has the time and nothing else.. sorry if this isn't specific enough. Thanks for any help in advance!

Did you go to settings/personalize/lock screen and choose a new lock screen? the settings for choosing your shortcuts are there...

Ya I tried that it still didn't change anything. It used to work, I'm not sure what I could have done to mess it up
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
Hmm... By "mess it up" I will assume that means you didn't mod your rom or do any 'experimenting' either. If so, I got nuthin. Other than post this on the thread for your custom rom dev and see if they can help you there. Other than that, I'd say revert to your last back up you made of your phone.
However, if you DO come up with a solution, post it here. I'd like to know! Good luck!

If you use Titanium Backup you should be able to save all apps to reload after your wipe. Haven't used it yet myself, but I have seen many posts on this site saying to use this app for just that purpose...

Sorry for disturb you all with my problem if you listen before. Last night I intented to reinstall the AOKP V40 in my phone and while was running the restore from Titaniun, I had the crazy idea to stop the process. The phone go to black screen with soft and down continous flashes and have not access to any option like Recovery or Download to make something to reflash or make working the damm phone.
Any suggestions__ thanks a lot for your helps
Did you try the 3 button method?

This makes absolutely no sense. How do you reinstall the AOKP V40 from Titanium?

Hey Dude, sorry for my explanation. I reinstalled trought CWM. When I intented to restore my apps, make the mistake to interrup the process. The phone gone to Black screen. That my point. At this time I partially solve the problem. I unroot the phone, Root again and install CWM 5.0.2.3 but has not activate the options to reinstall Kernel, Rom o whatever. Everytime I intent to applly the options, the screen go to a figuro of CW and nothing more.
Thanks friend. I just make this. Please read my recent coment to know my situation.
OK. That makes more sense. But I'm not sure if you need help? The only thing I can think Titanium would cause the phone to go to a black screen is if you were restoring system apps, which you should never do. Only install "missing apps and data" with Titanium Backup.
There's your problem you're using an ancient version of cwm and you have to use the home button and not the power button to select, smh read this has been answered many times

Ok, so have you tried starting from square one? Use Odin to return to stock and then make your way to whatever you want to do from there. And just a word to the wise, if you ever stop titanium while its restoring an app, you can just kill the app and nothing will be worse for wear

Nick has answered his question. Please stop telling the Guy to flash completely back to stock or use Odin for this or that, if u don't know the answer, its best not to say anything sometimes. That way we don't screw someone up even more.

Thanks soo much you all guys for the help. Sorry for my english when I intent to explain my problem. Certainly, it´s not my first problem with the phone. Last time I bricked the phone and take the action to unroot and install the stock kernel. Later Rooted and feel the same that actually do. Later, touching the buttons activated the CWM and solve the problem, but not remember which one of the is..
I will test again with your recomendations. Thanks again for your help.
Finnaly and after insist to open the phone under Download Mode, it was open and install the recent CWMR and reboot. Restart normally . For precaution, wipes, and reflash the ROM and Google apps. I will reinstall my apps manually (Sure)
Thanks again to you all for your help.
it would just be alot less time consuming when flashing ROM's to have screens and folders saved. If possible would very much appreciate enlightenment.
thanks

If you use titanium backup you can backup "sense desktop" which will save your screen setups.

Open titanium, click on the backup/restore tab at the top, scroll down prob about half way until you see desktop htc sense, click and backup. When you flash a new rom follow the same process except click restore instead of backup. Restoring your screens can cause issues when flashing between completely different roms but most of the time causes no issues.

My phone is really sluggish and slow. Ifi click the menu button for example the round spinning loading logo comes up for a few seconds.:crying:
Any tips.
Thats not right at all. There is something fundamentally wrong.
I would download mybackup pro trial aand take a backup of your data that you absolutely cannot lose and then do a factory reset because this should not be happening.
overclock!!! :fingers-crossed:

Not a good solution to this problem. He shouldn't have to overclock to get the performance that should be available without any modifications.
remove all the bloatwares and it should boost your phone

+1 removing not used apps and widgets makes a great difference in performance and battery life.
No matter what, the phone shouldn't act like this. Something is heavily draining ram(not using, draining) probable a rogue app.
factory reset and if the problem persist take it back to the store

One solution lies in rooting your device and installing a good rom on it.

A launcher issue based on your description? Nova launcher is good. You coukd give it a try. If not, factory reset is a good idea.
How is your setting in developer option, animationscale set on 1x?
Am using dolphin HD now. Whenever i "close" it with the home button and open up another app. I go back to dolphin and the webpages are being reloaded? i remember iPhone doesnt do this unless it really runs out of memory. Now, i have a tweak on my rom that doesnt let my ram drop below 200mb. Any ideas why this is happening?

No it's not safe.
Download and install nova, apex etc. launcher before you do that.
Heh your SIII won't boot without a launcher. That happens
It's just like a windows computer without windows installed

In theory yes, but I haven't tried. I don't understand why you don't install another launcher before you delete TW launcher? Why would you try to run your SIII without a launcher installed?

yep, if you've done everything right, the nandroid should restore your phone.
i don't know which rom you are using so copy and backup the nandroid to your computer.
(some roms delete the sd-card when formatting)
OK deleted my touchwiz with nova installed. Worked fine. Hope the ram usage goes down though. Still am seeing the touch wiz lock screen..

No, you are just seeing the system lock screen. Touchwiz, for the most part, on the GSIII, is just a launcher. A lot of the other things you see are other parts of the ROM.
Freezing Toucwiz with Titanium Backup would have been a better choice that deleting it.
