Does anyone know if the Developer Edition of the HTC One supports all the bands for T-Mobile? I'd hate to buy the Dev edition and be stuck on EDGE. Thanks!

It doesn't support 1700 MHz/AWS, which is for HSPA+. Only the T-Mobile-specific version supports all of T-Mobile's bands.
Sucks, I know.

I'm on Orange, which also shares the T-Mobile network. I have 3G.
Sorrry - TMO US
Anyone?
I guess since no one could answer, there is no 3G nor 4G for SGS2 users with T-Mobile US sim-card yet. I wonder why, it should work.
Is there a ROM that would make it work with TM US with 3G or 4G?
There is really nobody here who was checking it?

It doesn't work because the phone doesn't have the correct bands for T-Mobile US network. It requires both 1700/2100 bands to work because one is for upload and the other for download.
This little (S2)ucker was just announced by Samsung to become available in US matrket by the end if this month with ATT Sprint and Tmobile. Cant wait to grab one.
Hey all I love this phone.
Just wondering if it is possible to make it work on the USA T-Mobile network?
I have a HTC Sensation and looking to upgrade. I dont care for the pentile display in the One S, so I think this is the next best phone.
Please let me know.
Jerry
Not a chance. Sprint uses cdma tech while Tmobile is gsm.

the one x will
possibly and unlocked att version of the one-x
here
Theoretically yes because rumor has it there is also a HPSA+ radio in the LTE however it would take a wildly amount of work to get it to work for TMobile so it isn't practical. Why not get the One S?
I thought the international One X didn't work on T-Mobile's 3G and "4G" bands? You should do some Google searches to make sure you don't buy a One X that will only work on edge lol The One S might be your only choice.

Yup, thi sis what I have found on the One X, Edge only. I have great 4g speads now with my Sensation and dont wish to give that up....
I know the specs show that it has AT&T LTE bands, but had anybody actually used it on AT&T LTE yet? If so, please report your impressions.
Thanks.

I'm confused why so many people are worried about unlocking and band compatibility. Get the one from your own carrier !

Works exactly the same for me using an AT&T SIM in the T-Mobile HTC one. The other way around, I get less HSPA+ service using an AT&T SIM in a T-Mobile HTC One.

No. The AT&T one doesn't fully support T-Mobile while the T-Mobile one fully supports BOTH T-Mobile and AT&T.
For people who don't want CDMA-based service, the T-Mobile version is the best one to buy for compatibility.

Are you sure about that, Maybe the AT&T version needs to be unlocked for it to work on T-Mobile's HSPA+ Network. I hope like hell it does because I would like to have the 64gb version working on my Network of choice, T-Mobile of course.

This has been discussed to death on the boards.
All the phones have the same internal radio hardware but what's been flashed to each device is different.
i got a att version unlock, big mistake for tmobile. i flashed tmobile rom and radio. alot of places in new york i get 2G which it was constant 4G with my note 2. Place where i get 4G i only get 7mbps. while with my note 2 i was able to get up to 18mbps. Order the tmobile version will return this one. The only reason i bought this is because they had it locally in ATT store while tmobile htc one is on backorder and not avail in any store.
Unfortunately Samsung doesn't just make the same model for both I would imagine it would save them money also but att phones work slow on T-Mobile but other way around your golden

Hello all,
I have an att one that I've sim unlocked to use with tmobile. Now I want it to run like a tmobile phone. Would I have to unlock bootloader from HTCdev then flash cwm then flash a rooted stock rom? Now what about flashing a tmobile radio? Can I just flash that on top for it to be better optimized for tmobile frequency? And when should I S-Off through this whole process? Thanks for all the help

Got what? No one has yet gotten the AWS frequencies on their non T-mobile phone. What exactly did you have as results?
The ATT model by default only gets the HSPA 1900 band or LTE on T-Mobile (plus edge, of course). What it is missing is the high speed 4G T-Mobile only AWS band.
EDIT: One does not need to flash TMO to use the phone on 1900 or LTE.

Not currently. As I said, a lot of people are interested and are working on it. But just flashing the radio will not work.

I wanted to buy the One M8 unlocked instead of the ATT version.
Does anyone know if the unlocked version will be fully compatible with ATT LTE?
Thank you.
No its not compatible with LTE. It will only work with HSPA+

According to who? This is the first instance I've read of someone saying LTE won't work.
I have 2 units on order from HTC and everything I've read says the unlocked version will work on AT&T LTE.
Here's 2 examples...
http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-one-m8/375483-unlocked-htc-one-m8-t-lte.html
http://www.phonedog.com/2014/03/26/...d-unlocked-models-now-available-for-purchase/
Yes, the unlocked version is definitely compatible with AT&T LTE.
If you look at the HTC website you will see in the description that both the Unlocked and Dev's Editions support LTE bands 4 and 17, which are the bands that AT&T uses.

My bad I misunderstood that he might talking about the international unlocked. I apologize!
