Can the One android beam? I tried beaming a photo from my S3 and it didn't do anything. I made sure NFC was turned on. Or is this a 4.2.2 feature?

I was able to beam a photo but I had to turn off S beam in the S3. Otherwise the one will try to open a play store page that doesn't exist.

Yeah, remember Samsung has their own version of android beam

After several attempt I managed to get it working. The NFC chip is on top on the phone not the middle.

I think it is a function with no app that yet supports it. Its newer than NFC, I think. Kinda waiting to be tapped into. No apps on the market for it.

Hey all. I just tried Skype on my phone for the 2nd time today and was told that my image was green. The first time it was on the vzw network so i assumed there was a bandwidth issue however today I was on wifi.
Looking it up on Google it seems to be an issue with HTC phones on ICS and the Skype app. Has anyone found a fix for this or must we wait until JB?

I think the latest version of skype fixed this a while ago...
I'm using the latest version and this just happened yesterday.

That's odd. My skype is working 100% fine... I am on ViperLTE 1.0.0. Try deleting the data for the app. May be it is something with the latest OTA if you are on that.
Its supposedly an issue with HTC phones which would explain why yours works fine.

Really? Hmmmm perhaps my device is defective.

Is it possible the camera settings would affect color? Try setting your White Balance to compensate for the color temp of the lighting where you're located during the call. I suspect this might be the source of the problem.

Send a picture, I loaded the pix on my DNA and turned on nfc and android beam on both devices. Hold up the phone to the back of the nexus 10 and it does nothing

My son has a nexus 7 and we had to move it around a bit while they were back to back to get nfc to work.

Unlock both devices. Place them back to back and slide around until you hear the beam notification. Note the sweet spot and try to repeat the action to confirm where it is.
Both screens should zoom out and say "touch to beam". At this point, tap the device you want to send from and it will give you a 2tone success notification.
It takes a little playing around with when working with two different devices.
Please don't touch my "Thanks" button, it doesn't like you...
Me and the gf got frusrated and gave up lol ill try again wants she lets go of the tablet lol

Well in that case you'd tap the DNA's screen, not the tabs.

I have an N10 as well. Just tried to beam a picture from the DNA to the N10. The N10's NFC must be up toward the rear camera but still wasn't easy to trigger.
tks
Hey all,
Im having some trouble getting this app to work properly and was hoping someone on these forums can help shed some light on this issue.
I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks

To my knowledge, I don't think the Rezound is compatible with that. HTC uses a custom Bluetooth stack that doesn't play nice with some devices.
I could be wrong, if so, please correct me, and tell me how I can get this working too

I might have read your post wrong... but I use it as a controller/keyboard. Its way easier connecting my phone via Bluetooth with blueput droid and using my keyboard for quicker messaging. Check it out, hope it works for you.

I use bluez IME from the play store. Works great with the wiimote on CM10.
My HTC one says when I turn it on and off "system uids inconsistent". How do uni make them consistent? Btw I have mine rooted running android revolution sense 5 and I would like to not go back to factory sense 5. Thanks
