i bought my xperia sola 2 days before, when i plugged in headphone, mobile don't recognised that headphone when i plug it on other mobile or laptop it works great but on xperia sola it don't works. please somebody help me to solve out this problem.

I think ur mobile has the problem as it should have recognized the headphone try other headphones if there is a mobile problem rush to the service center they will give u new

after purchasing i upgrade it into 2.3 to 4.0 andriod version...may be this problem occur after upgrade..no other headphone is working on it...

BTW what do you mean by not recognized, no sounds are coming from it?...if so then you should bring it to the nearest Sony service centre.....Hope I helped.......also make sure that your system volume is not muted

Got this issue in Xperia Ray st18
The In-Call Volume is VERY low both in Ear Speaker and Loud Speaker. It is very difficult to hear the other person if your hearing is not perfect. It is a horrible situation and no fix in sight! But if I find something I will post it. I hope someone can help.
Music etc on loudspeaker works fine. So far the solutions posted, loudspeaker on then off, then volume - then + are impractical.
Using baseband 86 (latest) on Xperia Ray Gingerbread. ICS had the same issue, and was completely unstable for this phone, Xperia Ray. This problem is in Stock Sony Firmware and ALSO in stock BASED Firmware. Custom Firmware also seem to have this issue.

My brother's got a xperia sola and we made the update to 4.0.4. Now when he wants to turn it off, it just reboots. After that reboot it completely shuts down.
When he presses power and volume up it shuts down, but isn't there a better solution for that problem or do we have to wait for a fix by Sony?

I had this problem using a Rom based on the oldest ICS (Was newest at that time).
Annoying as hell, as the only way to shut the thing off was to do a hard reset.
I got rid of it by flashing a different rom though, so unless he's on stock, that could be an option he could explore.

I have exactly the same problem (ICS .54) and up to now I didn't find any solution: I will try with some specific power off app (my Sola is rooted).

You can force the shut down if you press volume down (or up) with power button and it works...
Great (okay not really great) to see another person having that kind of problem
Sometimes when I press the lock/unlock button the screen don't show up it kept black but I can unlock my phone using slide gesture which means the touch works only the screen kept black. Any way to resolve this issue?

Same Issue on Xperia U. Tried repairing via SUS. No luck. Also many users are having this strange issue on different xperia hand-sets. Same issue like there was before regarding touch not working properly.

I believe it happens to everybody... At least it does to me, stock kernel using my puremiui on my lww. Maybe it's a kernel bug, idk, but it's not bad anyways, it disconnects sometimes not everytime!

ok i agree but it is very annoying and i compare it to my dad xperia go and my mother xperia j and they are uch better my friend

yeah, but no reason to change phones bro, besides it doesn't happen very often.
I think there is a command to solve this, It disabled wifi power saver and consume more battery.
But you will have a stable connection.

Hi,im using XP and till i update jb my hdmi isnt work.its connect and disconect again and again.im used jb stock 6.2.A.1.100, rom moonbreaker jb kernel and now rom enigma v5 nemesis kernel v5.2.its have same hdmi problem.anyone had fix this ? I plug hdmi cable to my XP .in the status bar it appear HDMI connected,tv launcher started then disappear.then it appear then disappear..and i think it never stop that

Custom ROMs can cause some issues. Please make a reply to that custom ROM you're using

I also have this problem....
Hey I also have the same problem...automatic connecting and disconnection loop....tried JB,ICS but no use....Its not of the cable...the same cable worked fine on a Acro S...Tried on 3 xpeia p handsets...all have same problem.
Could you find any solution?...share it with me also...
