I have been working on manual programming to run my Rez on Page Plus, and I found a strange issue that may be the last hurdle:
My M.IP default profile is disabled.
dialed ##778 to get to EPST menus. Everything is in order except in the M.IP Default Profile menu: "Enable Profile" the entry is "Disable" and even in edit mode I cannot toggle it.
I've tried DFS to change a setting, but no success figuring it out. I believe if I can figure out how to toggle that "disable" setting, I should be on my way.
I tried to match the EPST values from a thread here on this subject, and all is well except this one. Help?
I guess no one has the solution for this problem? Here is a screen shot. Hmm, shows image twice... Sorry

I can't get any dialer codes to work, and when I do they're not working properly. I'm running mean Ron 4.7. They were working fie this morning when I checked if I was on evdo rev a or network vision. I I've put some pics of the ##debug# after multiple attempts to gain access to it.

Like Glebun said, it looks like you've got something in developer settings on. Regardless of whether you say you've touched it or not, you should look to see which one it is and turn it off.
upload a screen of developer settings
In developer options, untick show pointer location

I've seen threads for many devices started but no responses so I'm wondering if it's a bug in Android or not. I use MAP to see texts on my Toyota Camry. It's supposed to be able to read email as well. However, there are times where the MAP settings aren't saving and the look actually changes. In one instance I get this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
With this screen the settings won't save and messages can't be read. If I reset the phone, however, and go back to the MAP settings it will sometimes change to this:
With the setting screen like this, the car can access text messages but not emails. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

The setting likely means enable/disable the Bluetooth Message Access Profile (MAP) and not the email app. Their e-mail app probably doesn't even export the data, never mind implementing a bridge to the MAP.
My daughter has a Moto G7 running Android 10 at college and needs to disable MAC Randomization for her wireless profile in order to connect. However, the option in the profile settings to use the device mac is completely missing. I am working with Motorola support, but they are currently telling me that they are "working with campus IT" which I don't expect to help at all. I was able to use a dialer code to bring up the wifi settings and it absolutely shows macrandomization=1.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to change that setting? I really don't want to root the phone since it goofs up many of the apps she uses and she has been using her laptop for a hotspot. But it's crazy frustrating that it would probably be just fine if I could edit the settings file to change that value.

So I just noticed having installed the Activity Manager app through F-droid, I've not yet set up root, so many of the activities will be unavailable to launch. But one app with a couple of hidden settings not accessible at all via device menus is the Performance app. Not only do I see options to enable ZRAM which is disabled by default and have no intention to activate it. But the other hidden menu is of interest labeled Quick Launch. Though that one is found in settings as a simple switch, the hidden menu accesses a page that allows you to set up to 3 apps for Quick Launch.
Has anybody tinkered with these options? Is it better to leave them alone and select no apps for quick launch or is there an app that should absolutely be on that list that I'm likely misusing?
