Hey guys! I am totally new to this forum. I have an Unlocked HTC hero and I am using T-Mobile on it. I wanted to ask you all how can i install 1.6 rom on the HTC hero and if that is not possible how can i get information about the latest rom on the HTC hero. ALSO. i heard a lot of information about MODACO and other roms. IS there any step by step guide or any youtube video that will help me install these roms. Your advice will be much appreciated. Thank You
Please view the Hero Android Development sub-forum for available ROMs for the GSM Hero, most of which have installation guides.
So I got my hands on a used Mogul. My first flashing experience was with the HTC Touch (Vogue) and with egzthunder1's tutorial
I searched all over for a similar tutorial for the Mogul but cannot find it. I want to flash it with RyanMogul's heavy ROM.
Any help for this noob would be much appreciated.
This is a good one that helped me:

hi,
i just got my new HTC Evo 3D (gsm). (bought in china)
can someone please explain me step by step from the beginning (or give me a link) what are the operations i need to do, to replace the original rom to a new one.
and if you have a recommendation for a good rom that supports hebrew (right to left writing), i'll be very grateful.
thanks allot.

I thought China used CDMA? If not, and you really do have a GSM, go to the GSM EVO3D dev section. There should be some guides in there.
You must first root your phone. Follow this guide

or check the Evo 3D GSM android development thread for other options.
After searching the forums endlessly for an answer to bypassing this demo mode fiasco I'm having I found one topic discussing it, but they weren't particular about anything and only stated the person needing help would need to boot their HTC Radar with a retail ROM.
Does anyone have thorough information or a step by step how-to for booting an HTC Radar with its retail ROM or any ROM that would bypass the demo ROM? Any help is appreciated. If you could provide me with a ROM I'd appreciate that as well.
Is there anyone who can, and will make a working kernel for HTC One S (C2) for CM10 ?
Please we are desperate here on our lack of developers..
