MODDED MMS.APK FOR Micromax A116 Canvas HD
This Mms.apk is the same as the stock one, except for the mods I applied. It is the most close to the stock Mms.apk, just with some better features! ;D
Version 1.1 Had some serious bugs So I have to drop that (1.1 is not so lucky number for me )
So here is Version 1.2..

Features:
- No MMS conversion: you can type very long messages and it won't automatically convert it to a MMS (Default Was 7 SMS); (Screenshots attached) in Ver-1.2 - Limit is set to 14 msgs Its a bug I'll fix that later
- Unlimited Recipients list: you can now send your message to more than 200 people at the same time; (I know In india youcant send more than 100 SMSs but who cares..) (default was 20) Ver-1.2 - Working
- Original Time Stamps: this makes original time stamps setting actually work: it shows the exact sent time of received messages, not the moment when you actually receive it on your phone; ( I think I should Remove this, let me know what you guys think.. ) Ver-1.2 - Working
- Bigger Writing Window: when you are typing long sms, you can only see 3 sentences of what you've typed. Changed that value to 5 sentences and it feels much better. Now you can see 5 sentences of the message you're typing. Ver-1.2 - Working
- Limits: Default Text Msg Limit Changed from 500 to 5000 per Conversation, Default MMS Limit Changed from 50 to 500 per Conversation.. Ver-1.2 - Working

you can sen upto 500 msgs without converting it to mms..

No man, please let the "sent message timing" setting be the same as it is in v1.2 (i.e it'll show the time at which message is sent).

I think MegaHD ROM is odexed thats why this mod is not working..
Well I am giving you my 4.2 messaging app this should revert back your old sms app..

Downloaded twice from different sites. Same problem both times.
many ppl will confuse if they didnt read carefully.
this rom is meant to be restored from CWM, not flashing it

I think I need this coz in the other roms the text are black and its hard to read. thanks.
Where is the avatar anyway? Can you tweak it to look like the same avatar style like in Handcent SMS? The avatar of the sender should be in the left and the avatar of the receiver is in the right so that we can easily distuinguish unlike we have only ME and (receiver name?) as indicator.

Have you TICKED the correct permisions? Check it carefully again.
Of course I ticked the right permissions. I did everything as the instruction, and everything is fine, except I can't send sms. After that, I restored GDX's stock sms app and it didn't send sms either . I don't know what 's wrong. Go sms or handcent still work fine.

Replace the original mms.apk back and see if u can send messages. Also wait and see what happens after it says "sending", if u get a notification saying message not sent then its not working. Mayb its not compatible with stock ROM? Also make sure the number your sending to is correct.

there is problem with "com.android.phone". But you can do this,if you have installed this rom,using rootex entered into the system. find pad.prop and open with text editor on rootex. find this line "##system" and type "com.android.phone.dpi=rom_mid_dpi" in the bottom this line and save it. now you can activated TabletUI mode but Hybrid mode must be activated too. if not,you get same problem.
-Reboot recovery is doesn't work. tou must reboot normally and pressin vol down repeatly if you want entered CWM.

trust me bro.
i m on a relative's house nd its far away from my home.
i have 0.34mb left and its not enough to open fb full and take ss nd upload it here with a data sucking browser.
currently using uc mini.
so cant attach ss.
but i will tomorrow.
What is did with this rom is uninstalled bloats,so that my ram uses never gets more than 200 mb.

I changed the ui to xperia and launcher to sec launcher mod by argha.
The only thing existing is mh1 build and version 4.4.2 jellykat
For use it on custom rom need send me link of rom and give credits to me......
I haven't G5 but worked very hard to port home ux5 to mine G2.

Some details on what have on this home:

Blur background appdrawer
Add 6x5 option grid
Add second hand on live clock icon
Option to have red dayofweek text on calendar live icon (ex. Sunday red)

If you post a mod here at xda you are expected to either provide a tutorial of what you did so others can do the same, or the mod you created... my suggestion would be to put that download link in the OP, so people see it up front and decide to use your mod. most people are lazy, and will not hunt down a download link further into a thread will you will merely end up with a thread full of "Where is the download link?" questions instead of an actual discussion...
I'll grab a log later on, need use of my phone atm
