I don't know how this happens, this is the 2nd time since I've factory restored, but on my lockscreen (no password, only wallpaper) the icons aren't draggable. Clicking anywhere on the screen unlocks the device. It's bizarre and I don't prefer this.
Running tmo h1 stock rom rooted.
Edit: Found the reason. Caused me to delete HTC Sense data too -_-;;
If Tasker has accessibility marked ON, it fudges with the native Sense Lockscreen.

I've noticed that the stock lockscreen never shows up when the phone is protected by a password. When I turn on the screen, I am automatically prompt to enter my password without ever seing the lockscreen. The only time the lockscreen shows is when the phone is not locked.
I spoke with Samsung this morning and they said this is how it's supposed to work but I just think it's pretty weird to have it working this way. I'm coming from an HTC and the lockscreen always shows when you turn on the screen, whether the phone is protected by a password or not. Same thing on CM7.
So my question is as follows: Is there any way to force the stock lockscreen to show-up prior to being prompt to enter the password? The reason I'd like to have the lockscreen showing is that it gives you the possibility to see some notifications from the lockscreen, and launch the given application right away.
I know there are some lockscreen apps out there but the problem with them is that they often fail to launch (takes a few seconds before they kick in). Also, when the phone is still unlocked (I have a 5 mins delay prior to locking), I'd get to see two lockscreens back to back (app + stock), which is annoying.
Thanks!
Has anyone had any luck disabling the stock lock screen in sense 5.5? I had been using widgetlocker with the lock screen copletely disabled through settings but that option seems to be missing now. I've tried disabling the HTC lockscreen apk through the settings menu and also freezing it through titanium, both methods did nothing to remove it. I know it's nit picking but I don't like how the lock screen will appear briefly sometimes before widgetlocker overrides it. More annoyingly my alarms can't be turned off from and oddly when they go off widgetlocker doesn't allow me to unlock. This happens with calls from time to time as well. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same issue. Use this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jraf.android.nolock&hl=en
Finally gets rid of the annoying lockscreen.
So I downloaded a lockscreen for MIUI from the themes app but apparently it doesn't go well with my phone and it just displays the wallpaper without the actual lockscreen. The problem is, now, I can't unlock the phone as there is nothing to drag on the screen. My phone is also secured by a pattern. How do I remove this problematic custom lockscreen and revert to the stock one?
Obviously I'd either have to do it via ADB or something. Can anyone help me out? I can restart the phone but that's really all I can do since everything else is behind the lockscreen.
So Im trying to personalize the lgg5 current lockscreen(i wwould like to have a kind of iphone lock screen, i like how they show you notifications) i found a nice one on play store actually that is Next, i like it, the problem its that i have that lockscreen and the system lockscreen on background, so when I unlock Next lockscreen, i have to unlock System lockscreen after. With fingerprint it works good because it unlocks both lockscreen at the same time. But i would like to have only one lockscreen enabled, i can do this actually with Next but i lose fingerprint option(beacause you only can enable this with other lockscreen option for backup)
I dont have root experience but, it is possibly to modify lockscreen with root? Or it exist another lockscreen app that someone of u uses that doesnt have this issue?
I recently bought an LG V30+ and in order to make it feel more Pixel-like I replaced the LG stock launcher with modified Pixel launcher (https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...oogle-t3688393) and started using the live wallpapers that Pixel 2 has.
Everything worked out just fine before I decided to try out Microsoft's Next Lock Screen which changed the wallpaper on both homescreen and lockscreen. Of course this was easily fixed by changing the wallpaper back to the live one. Eventually I decided that the Next Lock Screen wasn't for me so I disabled it and removed it.
However, even after disabling and removing the Next Lock Screen application my wallpaper keeps reverting back to the default wallpaper that Next Lock Screen uses (the wallpaper that changes daily) after a few hours or everytime I restart my phone and I have to manually change the wallpaper back to what I want on both the lockscreen and homescreen. This is pretty annoying so any help would be greatly appreciated. Factory reset would obviously get rid of this problem, but since I've spent a good while already customizing apps I wouldn't like to do that just yet. I even reinstalled Next Lock Screen, then disabled it and removed every single permission it has, removed its cache entirely, and then removed the whole application. This still happens after doing so and it baffles my mind.
I found this old thread about this issue: https://nextlockscreen.uservoice.co...gestions/9153130-wallpaper-changes-on-its-own I'm just wondering how this behaviour still continues even after removing the whole app.
