I do IT work (mostly networking) and have been wanting to mainly use my awesome NC for site surveys and such. Does anyone know of any app to easily spoof a Mac address? And one to give the NC multiple IP addresses?

Anyone? I read about doing it through the terminal, but having an app do it would be much quicker. I'm kind of new to Android. I've used windows mostly and only a little Linux...
What exactly is TUN support? Thanks n advance.

TUN/TAP support allows for the ability to redirect some or all of your traffic from a client to a remote server. Usually the tunnel is encrypted.
Hi all,
I just bought a usb to ethernet but my Prime cannot recognised it. I found that the chips is MCS7830 and my kernel is 2.6.39.4 pad version: 9.4.2.15. Can someone help me to build the driver? Or teach me how to build it? Thanks.
The drivers is in : asix.com.tw (sorry I cant post the link)..
^o^
Why do you need a driver? - I have a USB to Ethernet and it works with the same firmware you are using.
Turn off the wifi plug in the adapter and go to the internet. There is no notification that it is working but it works.
Is you adapter one of the ones in the accessory list that works?
I use the apple one and it works out the box driver needed.
It looks like the. 19 upgrade will support other dongles
I bought one of these and it works out of the box:

My Prime is not rooted, has no special app or tweaks to make it work. Just turn off Wi-fi (as pointed out by Mikerla), then plug it in.
Unlucky buy a similar one but it use MCS7830 chips. I found that MCS7830 should be able to use with Prime but need compile from the source code.
i have successfully chroot into ubuntu and compiled the module. it works now. Thanks....

While we are on the subject , are there any apps that allow you to play around with the Ethernet setting? Check ip, dns other settings, lock ip to static etc?
Will network mapping work with Ethernet dongle?
Thanks in advance!

Is there a way or an app to bring up users IP addresses in the same game session as you are?
Sent from my BLU STUDIO 7.0 II using XDA Free mobile app
If you want to know what your PS4 IP is, simply go in the PS4 to Settings>Network Settings>Settings and Connection Status List.
PS: I have only a PS3 so it could be not the same Settingnames but you will find it

No, I want to be able to gather other people's IP addresses that are on the same gaming server as I am. Pretty much a packet sniff or IP sniff so to speak.

Then I'm sorry. This I don't know. I hope you will not do bad things with that [emoji6] .
PS: You can view the IP & MAC Adress from connected devices on the same network with this App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lksystems.wifiintruder
