THIS GUIDE IS OUTDATED
PLEASE GO HERE
------------------------------------------------------------
There was a bounty going on in general to get his ROM working. So any interested dev's may be interested in claiming the bounty.
I wrote a quick guide on how to get the ROM working on our devices.
Credit goes to all the people in the original threads below who created the various parts. They are the ones who deserve the credit -- I only cobbled the the necessary steps together in a guide -- their work made it possible.
Mods - Apologies if this is not okay to post in the Android Development forum.
------------------------------------------------------------
Original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2215752
------------------------------------------------------------
Before we begin, you are doing this at your own risk.
[begin]
Download these files:
(ROM) & (DPI Fix) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261818
(Modem) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40974758&postcount=2
(Patch) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232516
(Kernel) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2154378
Do these steps IN ORDER:
Make sure you are on TWRP 2.5.0.0
Add ROM to zip queue
Add MODEM to zip queue
Add PATCH to zip queue
Add KERNEL to zip queue
Add DPI FIX to zip queue
Flash queued zip files
Reboot
It will take your phone about five to seven minutes to boot
You will receive some FC's and other errors, ignore them.
Complete the setup wizard
Download ROM Toolbox from the play store
In ROM Toolbox, go to the second tab (swipe to the left) and open the build.prop editor.
Swipe right, select DPI and change it to 160
Save the changes and reboot when prompted
Once rebooted, you are running the minitab ROM
Bugs:
-Keyboard is misaligned
-Occasional FC's
-You can only open the settings menu by placing a settings WIDGET on the desktop
Tips:
-Use Titanium Backup to freeze the Sprint voicemail app so it doesn't keep popping up
Update:
What works:
-Boot
-Touch screen
-Sound
-Cellular voice & data
-WiFi
-GPS
-SystemUI (fixed)
What doesn't work:
-Settings.app > must launch via a WIDGET on the home screen, NOT, a shortcut.

Gimmie my thanks too......I'm sure you will have to make some build prop edits and get rid of the sprint stuff in system/apps. Those will take care of a few fc's.

You have to manually add mod settings.XML to data/data/xposed.mod.settings/shared prefs. Please refer to the other device threads as I can't keep up with them all. First you must click xposed installer and click modules. Click boxes for appsettimgs and tweakerbox and then update and reboot. Then add the modsetyingd

Dont worry about it there already in the port, You will probably have to use a contacts.apk from one of your stock roms, Im sure I will attempt to fix this but its going to be a few days because of work. I was going to do this yesterday but the OP seems to have disappeared, Probably because he flashed the sprint version =/
Sprint version works fine I've been running it for 4 days now all fcs are gone except settings still working on that

Reserved for common questions
Q: Come on man I need Google now to show off to my friends wtf!?
A: Google now can be added Settings > OTA > Addons
Q: Does bluetooth play music yet you slacker!?
A: It works if you apply this fix.
Q: Can I use (insert random name)'s Gapps with this build!?
A: You can use what ever you want. The recommended ones are in OP.
Q: I'm getting a #7 error when trying to flash your ROM!?
A: Use TWRP or just update your CWM.
Q: I'm having some crazy issues that no one else has!?
A: Guess what, you messed up. Use TWRP wipe system, and do a factory reset.
Then flash the ROM and Gapps listed in the OP and wipe cache/dalvik. Do not restore stuff with TB.
Q: Which kernel is the best!?
A: Figure it out! Don't debate that here.
Q: What's the difference bettween this and liquid!? Which is better!?
A: They are both amazing ROMs and both will receive equal support from me so give both at try!
Q: I have a bug that other people posted about and the OP has acknowledged, should I just post it again!?
A: No! If the bug makes the ROM unusable to you flash a different ROM +1's on posts won't solve it.

A ROM that we want it to be. Smooth. features. Creativity. Without those in the credits in the box, i guess, you won't see this ROM being a combo.
What is Xylon?
A Generally based of many kinds of features around the Android Development and fits into minimal customization. It may act up like AOKP, but totally not at all. Overall, we're still in work in progress state of changing the base to slightly minimal like FNV before. This ROM is built off with GCC 4.7, O3, Linaro Strings enabled. (Galaxy Nexus Kernel, fusion with anarkia's horn, O3 and Linaro GCC 4.7.3 enabled.). Feature list will be available in the 2nd post. Changelogs. We don't usually write up but we will starting builds of 2.2.

Very nice ROM by the way! Tried it out but went back to Carbon because of Halo features. If this had Halo though.... oh boy... game changer.

Did you reboot after disabling hybrid mode? Beyond that, make sure UI Mode and Apps UI Mode are at 320, and System Density and Apps Density are at 480. Then go through DPI Groups and remove all apps from each group. That should put everything to "stock" even if hybrid mode was still on. For the record, I love Hybrid Mode

This may work on other Sprint Samsung devices, I'm not really sure. If you can let other people know about this to have them try, that'd be great Please let me know if you try this on another device and let me know if it works or doesn't work!
Awesome works great

Sorry
Don't hate on me. I'm just trying to get my knowledge up from the greatest people on XDA. I know updating the PRL is like updating your radio but what is the point of changing the prl? Just need some friendly knowledge to educate me. Please and Thank You

Read the last line of the first post, follow that link to the 2nd line of that post.
Just a reminder, everyone - you must be on a TouchWiz ROM! Stock will definitely work, can't promise that a custom ROM didn't remove the app that PRL Helper needs to open. AOSP ROMs (CyanogenMod, AOKP, etc) will NOT work!
@Viperboy, do you think you can create a roam control like app? I paid for roam control a few years ago and i have doubts about it being updated. I would be more than willing to pay for said app as ive already donated to your awesome prl app

Well thanks! But, to be honest, I don't think I have enough skill for that yet. However, on HTCs, devs always modify the phone software to include a roam only option, I assume they'd be able to do something similar on the Samsung's.

so we load the PRLs that we want and then can switch to the one we want.
to go back to "stock" do we just update PRL under the normal phone settings?

I've used this on several galaxy s devices running CM9 and it worked fine.
Anyone wanna try editing your signal icon or making a custom text on it,you can try Android Theme Engine , works on my current rom Xtreme v3 (TW 4.4.2 based ),or maybe you can try on any AOSP based rom.
-Install xposed Installer
-install APK
-Activate module
-Choose whatever you want and reboot
Not all setting worked, but at least you still can make over your icon on statusbar ?,plus this one also compatible with wanam xposed. I tried with centering the clock and scrolling wallpaper. Try it,youll gonna love it ( dont forget to backup )?
Note: And this isnt my work ?,you can find the original thread here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582494 ,just wanna make it simple for N2 user. Dont forget to thank them as well ?

Where is the link to original thread? If this ain't your work then you MUST link us to the OP.Also while sharing someone else's work you need to mention him in credits @nitol I saw you objected to the very same thing in DN3 thread when someone uploaded a link of some developer's work without linking or giving credits to the developer thread. How come you didn't do the same this time or care to find out if this was his work or not and if it wasn't where's the link to the original thread.
I might sound rude but I fail to understand when people share someone else's work and forget to do it in the right manner. So please @dollyaja make changes to your OP if this aint your work.
I had from friend in facebook, and he doesnt have any xda account, and i dont ask him where he gets it. I will mention him if he has an account. So if this is a mistaken against the rules, i dont mind if the mod will delete this thread, idc because i just wanna share, not hoping people will give me thanks to refill my thank meter. oh.. OP's done bos ? sorry for being newbie on opening thread ?

Well i think this is the original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-android-theme-engine-theme-android-t2582494.It's okay now at least you are aware of how to give credits or warn people that this is not your work.I doubt the moderator will delete your thread I just want the developer's work to be appreciated that's all. Thanks for updating your OP .
Edit:You don't need to mention your friend's name you need to ask him where exactly he got this app from.If it was shared from outside of xda then don't bother but if the same app was grabbed by your friend from xda (you can do that without having an xda account) then you must give credits to the original developer cause I found that exact app by a simple google search and linked me back to xda..Your friend doesn't need a mentioning.

@dollyaja, mangtabs gan.. :cendols akhirnye bisa gonta-ganti icon sinyal..
oops, sorry for my language.. :fingers-crossed: :ngakak
here's mine changed into iOS theme signal bar..
btw, how you change your label/font for your Dock Icon..? you got small pict/icon in there.. please share it too..
for other users, if you have problem or nothing changes after restart SystemUI or reboot, you need check whether you already have another mods for your SystemUI or notification panel, it might conflicted with this mods..
signal bar mod for example, if you use wanam xposed, you have to disable the mod for signal, eg; signal bar count/number (in notification panel menu) or the themed signal bar (in theme menu)..
from then, now you can change the icon with Android theme Engine.. :good:
