I played MEI all day today. Pretty sweet. Got it running for free thanks to Google search. Can't post how but it was an easy find. Worth paying for though.

So first off, my device was finally delivered to my house an hour ago. Since then I have been setting upball my apps and accounts. One thing I have noticed is that I dont see the samsung apps apk in the app drawer. Did verizon leave this out?

I don't see Samsung Apps on my Note 2, which came on my Note 10.1.

You can download Samsung apps from the Google Play Store.

I have no way to test it right now but im curious since I know ive heard its in the backplate. I picked up the two pack today and would hate to lose nfc just to have a stylish little case

Yes they do.

I great iPhone tweak that should be created for android where when you double click the @ button your favorite email is entered into any text field

That would be cool on the stock Samsung keyboard.

the development of this mod would definitely be appreciated. I also took Double At for granted in my iphone days
Anyone try doing this with Tasker?

Have to figure out the best way to hold it with 1 hand because top left and menu key at a bit of a reach.
My s3 feels like an iPhone in comparison, it feels dainty, lol!
Can't wait to get it rooted and use a DPI closer to what I have on the s3 w/slim bean to really take advantage of all the screen real estate

You should use lmt so you don't have to reach down for the soft keys.

I have no idea what that is

If you're into trying stuff, maybe check out Trans-Nebula ROM. It's how the ui for notes should have been done (Tablet style).

Just got my Note 2 last night. Upgraded from Galaxy NEXUS. My wife had the note 2 since February so I knew how great of a phone it was. Kept my unlimited data as well. It was a win-win. I should be very content for a long time.

My wife picked one up a couple weeks ago. Been running a Pac-man 4.3 nightly from 9/15. Pretty slick.
My absolute favorite accessory for this phone is the Flygrip. Makes it way easier and much more comfortable to use the phone one handed. That with LMT/Pie and I have no problem one handing this phone all day.

I like the two way stand part - I have a stand case now but the UI just doesn't look right sideways, and some things never rotate (like the phone). Any stand makes the speaker phone work better though.
Well got a replacement today, first one was vramc3, but had an annoying buzz in phone calls. New one (from costco) is vrall4, and no buzz that I can hear, yay.
Time to root!
