Just wondering if there is a flashable mod out there that would allow me to replace the 4G symbol with an LTE symbol. I'm am rooted with S-on bone stock ROM. Thanks in advance.

Not that I'm aware of. You can do it your self images are in system. Apk

Use Ninjamorph on the SystemUI.apk to replace the images manually. Be aware if you are s-on stock and using Hboot 2.09, your system WILL PANIC AND REBOOT upon editing anything in the /system partition.

We aren't rooted yet so I don't know if they can extract or change that at the moment. The guy to talk to would be nitsuj17 or andybones cuz they are the ones that are working on the dev stuff atm.

Don't really need root for this as it's in the ruu. Some of us though, were lucky enough to get in while HTCDev actually worked. So there are some rooted devices.

Or I found a link but don't know what one to flash, one has zimage and the other has boot image.

Not really sure why you would need this being soff, when you install a rom the kernel is installed as well. Being soff you would just need the z image. Note this is for ICS not jb

Could do that but it's for my brother's phone I rooted it and all for him on viper 4g and has the aroma installer, he is new to android and I'm gonna talk him through installing it over the phone, just easier that way till he gets the hang of it.

My htc evo 4g lte is S ON but unlocked with the htc unlocker, can anyone suggest a rom I could flash with this setup Ive tried jellybam but it didnt work?

For s-on Mikey has been the go to dev. He gives a lot of support to users that are s-on
You can use any ROM while S-On. I know, because I tried them. You can use fastboot with a computer for using the Flash Image GUI app (my preference) and flash the kernel by loading the rom's zip file. Use the search feature on xda and YouTube for better instructions.
Long story short, you're not restricted to Sense Roms as you might want to assume.

I'd say viper 4g, my 1st custom ROM and I was s on, lots if customizing. Tried mean bean after being in cm10, only to do pro update, and didn't like it like viper 4g. Although I hate sense period lol

I have had too many issues running these custom jb roms that I'm over it, there's always something not working or force closing and I'm sure there is a mod out there to stop from compressing because that's the issue.

i just recieved my replacment evo lte in the mail because my first one broke. however, i regret signing with sprint because they are horrible. i want to change my prl to use verizon 3g so sprint will cancle my service for roaming. can i do this without rooting my phone. please help !
