LED Notification Control App? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 that is rooted and is running LiquidSmooth ROM.
I am looking for an app that let's me control my notification LED more.
I'd like to be able to set multiple colours in a pattern for a certain app, for example when I get an email I would like the LED to alternate between blue and white. Is there an app or mod that offers this type of control?
Thanks.

LED Notification Light apps?

I only found one so far that works. Its called "LED me know BETA"
You need to disable compatibility mode and it works.
Any others? Would be nice if I could change google voice notification light but guess that's not too possible. Gah they really need to improve their app

I remember using Missed Call awhile back
I don't use it anymore and just stick with the stock colors
but it worked well for me

[Q] Status LED colors?

Does anyone know how many different colors the front status LED can create. I'm interested to know because it would be a great hack to have different colors for different notifications, etc.
Try light flow app to see which are available

From what I can tell, at least five or six. There's a LED Tester app on the Play Store that's free where you can try different colors. There's also a free/paid app called Light Flow that allows you to set very specific notifications on an app/event basis. Both currently have issues displaying the correct colors and at last Light Flow is being updated soon to support the S3. See http://www.folioflow.com/ff/page/website/lightflow/pageId/1826 for progress updates.
Hope this helps!
Thanks, exactly what I needed to know.

Last I heard light flow has a lot of bugs for the s3. So just keep that in mind! It could also have been patched by now too. So look into it.

Anyone's led light acting funny?att version

Quick question. Does anyone find that their led doesn't blink with non stock apps? Like I have gosms and the led lights up and stays lite instead of blinking same with like yahoo mail. I also notice if I use say lightflow and pick say "blue" for an led color the color will show up "red" no matter what color I select it will show up a different color on the led. I just find this weird.

I havn't had any issues with the Gmail app. But I do know that setting g custom LED settings in certain apps can sometimes make the LED act funny you may want to check settings in individual apps.

Got the same in gosms and Facebook

Uninstall Light Flow and you will be all set. It has some bugs with the S3 sadly. The dev knows about it and will fix it in the next update.

LED Notification Colors

Is it possible to control led notifier colors from within apps like go sms and gmail? I know light flow doesnt work on gs3.
Thanks!
I know you can because some of the customer ROM's allow you to select different colors. I'm sure an app will appear soon to allow us this function.

doesn;t have that option
I don't plan to root so that means I will never be able to control led notifier colors?
You can control GoSMS LED notifications from within it's Settings menu.
Open App>Settings>Notification Settings>Default Notification Settings
Scroll down to:
Blink LED
LED Color
LED blink rate

You can use lightflow. It is not unstable, it just has a bug which enables talkback. You do not need to root your phone for lightflow.
To get around it, go to settings->apps->all and disable google text-to-speech and samsung tts.

Custom LED Notifications?

One of the best features of Samsung is their use of RGB LED's for notifications. I was sad to see that there is not customization of the LED and was wondering what my options are? I have ROOT access with locked bootloader and found a few apps (LightFlow is one) in the play store but they seem not compatible with the Note 2. Does anyone have any tips or methods to get custom LED notifications going? I know I am not the only one who wants a color other than blue for all notifications.
Light Manager.

Nice works pretty well, thanks! The LED is not that great at making colors but it at least open it up to a few more options for personalization.
Light Flow that I purchased when I had my GNex also works, though the colors are a little off from the Gnex, at least for me. Orange is showing up as yellow.
