i urgently need help please:
using galaxy s2 ICS 4.0.3, unrooted
since i had it conncted to kies yestrday, backed up and restored it, all messgaing replacement apps not been able to send sms ( handcent, chomps, go sms) , however stock messaging is working, but i can't use the stock messaging since it had the problem since that it converts my sms to mms beyond 90 characters!!
tried: installing and uninstalling the messagins apps, cleared data , rebooted and master resetting the phone 3x already. another problem is its not being recognized by kies anymore, did repaired kies, and its also the latest version of kies. i did tried galaxy y and its recognized by kies... please help me

This is one of biggest problem with Galaxy S2 HD LTE too!!!!!!!!!
Looks like your Messaging Centre enter has been deleted.
Type in your dialer >> *#*#4636#*#* >> under SMSC type in your Network Messaging Centre (if you don't know it ask your network operator) >> DON'T press update >> Hit the back button and exit the app.
Hi, i have a problem with texting, i use GoSMSpro and never had problem with it .. but recently i just facing to a problem that is very annoying !
Some message just not sending .. the most of message are succesfully send but some kind like 1 on 10 just "Pending" and stay like this all the time, i have to resend the message to have the message correctly sent ..
Tried uninstal the app and just use the Stock messaging app, but same problem ..
I changed my Modem same problem
I did a factory reset, and even change the Rom, same problem
I changed the Simcard on my carrier, same problem
I don't know what to do anymore .. Any ideas ?
Edit : I'm using Stock LPD rom with Siyah 3.3.2, but tested Stock LPG with stock kernel (when i changed the rom to see if it come from there) and the problem persist ..
carrier problem perhaps?

My dad (same carrier) don't have this issue .. and friends don't have this issue too ..
Just tested on the lastest CM9 .. same Issues .. I'm fed up with this

Might be a case of corrupt application data.. Try to do the following..
Goto Settings > Applications
Select Messaging from the list and Clear Data. Tell me if this works..

Well if this problem occur even after a full wipe / cache / data / system .. Does this simple action would solve it ?
Anyway, i'm out of solution so i'm gonna try it and tell you if it works ..
It didn't work .. Still facing to the same problem..
I also tried an other sim card (from a friend, which is on an other carrier) and same problem..
So it came from the phone especialy and not from the carrier or the simcard
It occur the most of the time after a quick reply ( i mean, i receive a text at the same time i send one ) or if i text 2 time quickly .. (like " Hi how are you ? " "don't forget me" at 2 second between them)

Check if your baseband and imei is in tact..
Btw, can you call to others? Can you receive calls and texts?

Baseband is ok
imei is ok too..
Yes i can call to other, and receive all text and call too ..
That's why it seems so strange that some text is just pending ..
as i said, the problem occur 1 on 10 text ..

so here's the problem. i've installed DN3 v3 ROM using twrp first and i realized that i cannot send any messages on facebook and i also cannot set up whatsapp. it remains stuck when i enter my phone number and tries to connect with the server. i can download apps ffrom playstore and surf the internet, but the network speed is painfully low.
after that, i switched to OMEGA rom and Dr. KEtan by flashing then with the philz recovery. same thing. i've instaled the dmg1 modem but same problem. i'm on orange ROMANIA.
any ideas?
currently i'm back on omega v18 wich is running very smoothly without any problems...
