but arhd don't have batt % mod by default right?... you have to flash a systemUI with an existing batt mod for it work since i used UFT....

yes wesamothman just told me it doesn't work with SF for some reason.... i used UFT so there shouldn't be any probs or conflicts....
i don't have a note2 so all i can do ia wait for brother wesam to find out what's conflicting with the two.......
EDIT: i'll make a vrtheme version later and let's see if that fixes the prob...

I came across the following post in the i9000 forums:

New tutorial to do it on your own (very easy)..
1. Go to http://circle.glx.nl/
2. Choose your battery MOD (only battery mod, not tested with other stuff)
3. Upload your framework-res.apk (do not rename)
4. The kitchen will give you a zip. Download it and open with 7zip (use only 7zip, and don't extract, just open)
5. Double click framework folder, then double click framework-res.apk (all this from inside 7zip)
6. Now right click your original framework-res.apk (which you uploaded to the site) -> 7zip -> Open with 7zip
7. Now you should have 2 7zip windows open, just drag the "META-INF" folder and the "AndroidManifest.xml" file from the original framework-res.apk, to the modded one.
8. That's it.. Now just close both 7zip windows.. The modded one will ask you if you want to update the framework-res.apk file in the zip, choose yes. Now you can flash this zip via CWM
Let me know if it works for you guys.. Ill add this to the first post then.

I followed these instruction exactly on the new deodexed JK6 rom and it worked perfectly! I had never seen anyone mention before that we could use the UOT kitchen directly, and just thought I'd share. If this is old news, just let the thread die

This framework was built for the deodexed JK6 rom. I make no guarantees of success or failure of flashing to any other rom. Also, of course, if you don't make a backup first and/or don't know how to use Odin to recover, you're on your own.

Thanks for posting this it worked perfect on my stock 2.2. I chose the SCB with % Version Z Custom type. Really happy with this since I wanted a true battery percentage reading.

This zip I included is for the stock deodexed JK6 (also includes nicer status icons). If people would like to share their zips for the various roms the get this working on, I'd be happy to include them in the OP to make things easier on others. Please include the following information:
Rom name and version number
Battery mod selected
Status icon set (if any) included
Any other framework mods previously applied
i can't seem to get this to work, i keep getting shtf errors...
anyone want to post a video tutorial or explain to me exactly how i extract my framework apk to the kitchen?? thank you!
How about JL1? I tried another one for JK6 and was getting FC's on the alarm and camera so I think something is going on there with the JL1 modem. Not sure though, but it worked fine till the JL1 modem was installed. Oh and I rolled back to the standard Android icons with JL1 and all FC's stopped so it had to be something with this on JL1.
here is what I drummed up. Very similar to others but I felt that the green needed to be the highest percentage as green is usually denoted with fully charged.
I have this loaded and it is working for me, but as the OP states, use at your own risk and only on deodexed JK6.

The modem shouldn't have hurt anything, been sporting JL1 modem since release along with my same JK6 battery mod for awhile now.

Is your framework from a deodexed rom (either deodexed stock or virtually any custom rom)?

From what I've been able to gather, the .9 PNGs in the framework don't decompile too easily on some heavily themed roms. I wish I could tell you what exactly the reason for this is, but I'm still learning and haven't gotten that far yet

You can flash it without wipe. It'll just replace images in your apks including SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk.

First, this theme I did when I had my ex DHD phone, know it's a GN2 version.
Note PLZ : ( IN General )
- It's best to flash the theme over a fresh install of your rom.
- Flash rom, reboot once ( wait a few ) reboot once again, flash nothing.
- BACKUP, backup, backup.
- wipe cache & dalvik cache, then flash the theme, then reboot.
- If theme is flashed over other theme ( even older versions ) and/or other mods, it could cos animation bootloops.
- Boring ( I know ), but it'll save time.
#New Theme Version : KitKat_View_V2_Light Weight
-Light Weight V2 theme should work on almost all latest KitKat roms ( that's why it's light weight ).
-Issues : I've tested it on 3 different roms : some roms get all included theme apps fully themed , other partially , other nothing, others FC ( c'est la vie ).
-So, for the reason above, I've removed some apps like ( Calculator.apk, SystemUI.apk, ... )

Peperoni Glazer will just apply some special build.prop tweaks only for performance but i dont think its working as of yet, so its clased as a Alpha Build, , Im working on Pizza Engine and this is going to be the biggest and best script for all Xperia Play Devices,
