After trying everything I could to get my phone working, I flashed the TA from a working ray onto my dead one.
Now nothing recognises it.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks for any help you can give.
Now u just learnt that one should never ever flash a TA of someone else's fone to urs, now u just hard bricked it.
Don't know of its condition earlier but now you have urselves an expensive paperwieght
Regards

Don't think that i didn't read all the treads about this matter, because i did.
And it is not clear to me if finally there is way to revive atom life's boot loader with JTAG procedure or other similar.
Anyone ?

anyone please, it's a simple question ?
I wish you best luck in reviving you device. But to make you feel better i will consider taking ur device as spare parts for mine. i scratched mine several months back and could use some parts.
Before you throw it away. PM me.
regards
*sigh* ignore him.. anyways whats the problem exactly with your device? It boots but it doesn't go into the bootloader? or what?
HI,
Just wanted to check is someone can put some light on this stupid question.
Is there actually some cycle limitation on flashing the ROM on SGA? I mean is it going to damage the circuitary on the motherboard if i rlash ROM as often as twice a week??
May be the entire board is designed to run limited rom cycles
nope ders no such thing....but its not a healthy practice...
u may damage ur device if sumthing goes wrong during the process....

Have access to fastboot/flashmode?
Install complete stock ROM via Flashtool(don't wipe data if you have important data there), or unlock bootloader and install proper kernel.
I know there's one similar post about this question but I still can't get the answer I want.
1) Can I use other phone's custom ROM for my phone if both phone has same specs?? like exact same CPU,GPU,RAM etc..,if its impossible, why is that so?? Is it because the hardware will be incompatible with the kernel ??
2) What will happen if I do that?? If it's bricked, can I still unbrick it?
thanks

1.no u can't use ......there are plenty of reasons like framework will be different for different phone etc.........
2.if u flash different roms then u will brick ur phone ...........if ur phone is soft bricked u can recover but usually u will hard brick if u flash other phones rom .....and if u hard brick then ur phone will become fancy paperweight ...
HIT THANKS BUTTON IF I HAVE HELPED
so i have a few questions
,first off im not a noobie on the flashing, rooting, unlocking etc , my friend flashed the wrong rom to this phone it appears to have suffered from a hard brick just due to its unresponsiveness. I was wondering if the bootloader files or some sort of files have to be on an sdcard and be placed inside of the phone for a jig to properly work. i ask this because if the phones bootloader is corrupted how is it going to boot any other way. Im trying to avoid this jtagging thing. Any ideas would be helpful or references would also be appreciated.
yes i have a jig, yes ive tried the recovery button, yes i have odin, i also have a external battery charger, etc etc :fingers-crossed:
