Physical keyboard problem minicm7 2.2.1 - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I have problem after flashing naa.gb.14 kernel with minicm7 2.2.1.....physical keyboard ain't workin ryt..when I. Press "y"
It shows 3..blue alt key also shows y or 3...some othr key also mapped wrongly

this looks strange...maybe you didnt flash the right kernel or rom, or you didnt wipe factory reset...

I did flash the right kernel. .

Please replace the Generic.kcm or Virtual.kcm files from the attachement ifrom your /system/usr/keychar folder.
This is not my work but its done by chuck95 so thank him

Help me!

I hav rootd my x10 mini,but m nt able to instal xrecovery,i hav copied the 3 files into the 'bin' foldr bt stil whn I pres the 'back' button on restart,nthng happens!
Plz sujjst smthng!

I am attaching the files below with specific instructions......Follow them correctly and you'll have xRecovery.
just use the xrecovery app here in this section

Cn ne1 plz sujjst me a good custom rom,i hav installed cynogen mini cm7 but it doesnt hav market app,and the camera seems to b vga!
I jst wnt to customize my phn,nd add features to it,bt dnt wnt to loose the basic things lyk market nd camera!
Plz help!

but here i bring back the 2.1 original app that is app installer..
i like it better that other apk installer out there..
just wanna share..

Yeah the stock installer is cool its have "upgrade'' tab and its funny.
But how the hell u r thing this can work on MINICM ?
Its have entire differend code than ginger installer.
Its need to be ported then may be will great to post it and use it

How can ginger recognize that apk? its only work on stock 2.1?? any way else?
Whats the point of this anyway? Just open the apk file using any file manager...

it will be there... every one even me flashed ics ftf and got faceunlock by default!! u have to check it in settings->security->screen lock there u will find.
or else if u r on custom or ported ics then u need to flash faceunlock.zip and then should login to ur google accout then ur faceunlock will activate....

Setting... Security. And then select the type of lock.
Face lock is there and its cool.

No, You don't have to change framework, just flash new ROM via CWM or xRecovery

1) Etract the file.
2) Connect ur device with usb debugging on (should be rooted device)
3) open the extracted folder and click on install(.bat file)
4) Accept all the superuser requests on ur device..

I use this ROM on my Sola with Locked Bootloader (with atis's patch), I think this is an awesome rom.

Don't ask about which Rom is the best and stable because it is disrespectful to developers. You can try out ROMs by yourself to know which is better and also every ROM has it's own pros and cons.
