Sync scheduler/Sense lockscreen. - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Ok I'm usually an auto sync off and location services off type of guy. But with this sense lockscreen the no weather/ no location info thing is annoying and looks terrible. So I've turned locationservices on but my weather only syncs with auto sync on. Is there a good app that will schedule all my accounts to sync I.e. once an hour etc so to save battery and I keep that weather icon? Or a way to make the weather stick on the lockscreen and not disappear?

Accuweather Erratic Behavior

How do I get the Weather widget to update the current location, it manually lists it, but not update the location with the weather
Don't understand, but if you want to enable the Auto Refresh feature then you can do it under Settings, You can also Enable your current location by ticking it, and also if you have more than one city added then you could Enable Auto Scrolling feature which will show all the cities in a cyclic order on the widget in an interval of 8-9 seconds.
Regards.

sorry if post was confusing, on my older HTC phones, whenever it updated the weather, it diplayed my Current location as per GPS, this one only keeps displaying home location.
No takers?

Facebook for HTC Sense question

Hey guys, I have a quick question about Facebook for HTC Sense. Is there any way to prevent it from updating automatically? I couldn't find a manual update option-- only an option to change the autosync interval. The longest period of time is 1 day.
Is there a way to disable autosyncing for HTC Sense facebook without disabling everything? I'd still like to use facebook for friendstream.
Thanks!

I think menu-settings-accounts & sync- Facebook for HTC Sense- unchekh sync live feed (calender and contacts if you want tho)
then the widget for friendstream has a refresh button on the bottom of it

gmail widget

I love the gmail widget however.... occasionally the widget stops displaying my emails. All I get is an option to view more conversations. At times locking the device and going back in re populates the widget. Other times I actually have to remove and re-add the widget. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a permanent fix?
Yes, I got the same problem too. When I wait then it reverses alone and shows me mails. Just be patient.
i have same problem but with one clock widget. When i lock desktop after some time widget stop to work properly.

[Resolved] Couple of minor problems I havent found answers for .. can you help

1. calendar notifications on weekend for work calendar - I dont want my work calendar to send notifications. Also I dont want notifications during nighttime. Is there any way to control this in stock calendar app? some other calendar app?
2. When bunch of notifications appear, how can I say, remove all notifications? (After I have reflashed a new ROM and resurrected 50 apps using TB .. I would like to get rid of all those notifications ..)
Thanks
1) you can set work email to not sync or not have any default reminders. I know on the Google calendar, you can disable notification(but it'll to apply for alldevices the calendars is syncing to
some Roms, youcan set profiles to disable alerts. custom apps like tasker cando it too
2) there should be a clear button on the drop down notifications bar

I do need work calendar (exchange) synced and only give reminders during work hours
I want google calendar (personal) to give reminders during weekend hours
No reminders during night-time. Its no fun to wake up at 3 am .. because someone set their reminder 10 hours before actual meeting
I will look into tasker

Thanks! I should have seen it!!
Another thing I tried and worked -> swipe the notification away. (not useful to clear all, but to clear one by one)

Sense Clock Widget

Is there any way to use the Sense Clock Widget "WITHOUT" having Google's location service turned on. The weather app works without it turned on, the car mode shows weather, and even other clock widgets that display weather do it without location service turned on.
If you want to just set an fixed location : remove the widget, set the location, add the widget.

Naw not really what I'm looking for. Just wondering if there is a way around it seemingly being tied to Google location services. Leaving that turned on drains battery faster than with it off IME.
