I can't seem to find an app that will let me keep specific apps in memory. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
Yes, I have Googled it.

Hi
I have programming experience in java, but i never did anything with cellphones and specially android.
I wanted to make a widget which will read very simple data from a small webpage, and to have it being updated once in a while on my home screen.
So,
1. Is it hard to do? If not, where can i find some tools and guides to do that?
2. maybe there is an app which does that for me?
thank you!

This is a great resource for Android development...

I do know that there is an app that does exactly what you're talking about, but it wasn't very good when it first came out. I'll have a look and see if I can find it, but I can't remember the name. It was in the Android Apps & Games forum.
There's also an Android Software Development forum on xda, so that's always worth a look as well.
Good luck mate

Sorry mate - I'm not familiar with it. Ask on the app thread. Someone there should be able to help.
Maybe check this out too.

mm i think both apps let you only define pictures as a widget/background
i'd like a real webpage with text and images
is it possible and im doing something wrong? because i can't get it to work (i added the URL but there's nothing in the widget)
Ok so I know I've read some where here how to fix the no memory error {cause as of now I can't down load from the market) but can'y seem to located it. So if someone could point me in the right direction or repost it would be greatly appreciated, thx in advance.
How did you end up with no memory. Did it result from flashing or changing something? The cause can point to the solution often.

Hi, is there any way that I can fix my market so that apps that are "incompatible" can be seen and installed? Thanks so much!
Can you better explain the problem? I'm kind of lost with your question...
Dont know if this helps but open market, hit menu key, select settings, select content filtering and check any ones not checked!
That should be it

it doesnt.. in my dropbox files for example, i need the same right click menu as w/ mouse on pc
thanx
does android even support right-clicks?
long-pressing..k.. but anything else?
Wouldnt understand why someone would need that option... if you're missing something via your browser, try an app/mobile website?
should be workaround enough?

oh, well.. as there is no official WebOS-app for DropBox out by now there seems to be no choice but to consider changing to either another service, or OS.. guess right-clicking is not supported.. at least that's what I've read in a 2009er thread here https://developer.palm.com/distribution/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=448

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and use Facebook a fair bit.
Im looking for sounds for notifications if someone could so kindle assist in helping me find where I could download one from I would appreciate it?
I have looked at a few sights but could not find any.
Some users say make your own but im unsure how I can do this.
Again I searched but did not find any clear instructions.
Cheers
you can use 3rd party app's like zedge
or copy from PC to your "notifications" folder on the phone.
you've already started an identical thread
