For some reason i can't update my tablet! I run the system update and it keeps saying its already updated.
I connected it via usb to my pc and tried updating it with the pc companion but it wont recognize the tablet
I really want to update it to the new android jelly bean!
some info about my tablet s:

PC Companion is for Sony Mobile.
ALSO older tab does not get JB. ONLY XPERIA TAB
Jelly bean isn't for sts, only xts

Hi guys,
i decided to give a try to root my phone (SE Neo V) today,
but i was having problem installing the USB driver or the "Android ADB interface" while i was trying to unlock the bootloader
I literally searched all over the internet to find the right driver but all of them came up with the same error.

As is, you can not root your tablet. However, you might want to take a look at stifilz's thread regarding a file that may (or may not) get you downgraded to a rootable US version of 3.2.1 which can be upgraded to a rooted version of 4.0.3 or 4.0.3r1a. After rooting, you can changed it to an India version. I'm guessing; you should discuss the post with stifilz.
Hi all. I just got android tablet from unknown manufacturer. About part in setting shows:

So, I want to root the device and install Jelly Bean, but have no idea where to start. I want to backup original system as well in any case of failure. If somebody can help me with instructions it will be great. I have experience only with rooting my HTC ONE X.

i own a xperia z tablet that i rooted using the DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v17_perf-event-exploit..

i have a couple of questions regarding updating the tablet to the latest FW + root
can i just update the tablet via sony's update in PC companion and then flash again to get root, would this brick the tablet ?
where would my stock FW file be kept for me to download ?
do i even need to un-root then update then reflash ?
any help is much appreciated !
