I have coverage problems with JB baseband and I tried to flash the baseband from .544 (ICS) but in "settings > state" in baseband it keep checking the baseband from JB
I used latest version of flashtool and only flashed the baseband (excluding the rest)
Am I changing baseband or not?

I was running Batista's Foxhound 2.1 ROM with KH3 baseband. Then I flashed to Foxhound 2.3 which comes with KI8 baseband.
After that I realised my wifi is able to connect, but there is no internet connection to my device. I checked the settings and the baseband version stated is KI1 instead of KI8, what is going on here?
Could the baseband be the problem causing my wifi not to work? Normal telephony works and my IMEI number is intact.
Will flashing another ROM fix the baseband or must I restore to factory default first?

Baseband is only for calls/mobile data. And it has nothing to do with your rom, you can flash every (SGSII) baseband you want.

KERNEL VERSION: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF3-CL276555 [email protected]#2
The problem is that with ICS available in India i am still unable to update my phone. No wifi. So trying by 3G connection on my network provider.
But still it says no update found.
My phone has Gingerbread 2.3.3 and in the update software section i have 2 options:-
1. Software Update
2. Resume Update
What is it that i can do to update my phone to ICS???

Have a look at this thread, they are all stok roms you need to download Odin and find the rom that fits with your country http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278 try the 3rd post for 4.0.3 roms download the correct one and flash via Odin. After flash do a factory reset to clear out any old 2.3.3 stuff. Remember to backup your apps contacts etc first.
XWLPF appears to be the most recent one for you just confirm you are using a Samsung i9100 and not i9100g.

i tried to flashing full stock rom(EH03&ED05) but stopped
i tried to flashing modem.tar same problem stopped
flashing pass normally with stock rom with no-modem

I have a xt912 on the .16 jb stock firmware. It keep randomly rebooting and I noticed the baseband version is listed as unknown. If I flash the .165 firmware will that also restore the baseband?
