hi
i got stock rom, 4.1.2, i have just factory reseted my phone, then sync and when i wanted to edit notification panel, when i click on display/notificaion panel it says "unfortunately, settings has stopped".
any solutions how to fix this?
thank you
Did you restore any system apps or settings from an earlier build version? If not then go back and start again, testing settings after you factory reset. If the error occurs before you sync anything then rom is corrupt, flash the latest stock rom via your pc and kies - if you haven't rooted, or odin if you have.

Hi guys,
I'm having issues with my SGS2 and I would appreciate very much if you guys could lend me a hand.
I had VillainRom 2.4.2, Ninphetamine 2.0.5 and modem KG6.
I tried to install this Dark theme but something went terribly wrong and I had processes crashing, couldn't see any links to the phone dialer, messaging, etc.
I'm trying to wipe the phone back to full stock but I can't for some reason.
I tried booting into recovery mode, wiping cache and all information but when the phone boots I'm back to a black skin with several crashing warnings.
I tried to reflash KG6 with odin and selecting repartitioning but when I boot again I'm back to the same black skin missing functions and receiving some crashing alerts.
I tried to factory default through Settings -> Security -> Factory Default to no avail.
All the guides I was able to find on the net to put the phone 100% back to stock failed as I always boot to a non-working dark theme.
Can someone please provide me some help?
Would appreciate very much any pointers.
EDIT: After I boot into this dark theme, I'm getting messages like process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly for example.
Factory reset does not mean that it removes all your custom rom stuff and all that. That's a nice thought, but that's not how it works
You need to flash a different rom on your phone after having wiped everything. This will fix your problem. And if you so very much want to go back to stock, you could always flash a stock rom through ODIN which you can get from one of the available threads.
Boot to recovery mounts and storage format system data and sd card ,
Power off boot to download mode flash stock firmware via Odin .

I don't know if I'm understanding.
I did reflash the phone with samsfirmware Europe KG6 after a complete wipe of data through the recovery menu (vol.up+power+home).
That didnt work.
Am I missing some steps in my procedure?
I noticed that my default dialer apk, contacts apk, etc are not working. Which method will also replace all my original APKs?
Thanks once again for your time and attention.

Nothing more to add.

Just wanna thank you for your help. For some reason I wasn't getting the expected behavior by flashing KG6. Went with KG5 and now I'm back on stock.
Cheers. Thanks button went your way btw.
Hi Everybody,
I have installed Da_G's pre-rooted kernel and then after backing up in Titanium i uninstalled apps that I do not need. Today market app started crashing on and after trying everything (clear cache and data and factory reset) it still crashes.
Now after factory reset I am not getting to the stock ROM stage, i am missing all the uninstalled apps and market app is still crashing. Installed original kernel, factory reset and still could not get to the original ROM. Where can I find the original At&T stock ROM. And one more thing: now I have "connecting to DM manager" notification stuck in the status bar.
Help would be appreciated.

Im on the latest XXBLFB firrmware with the NEEBLF1 CSC. When trying to change/modified owner information on the phone i get a FC from the menu. Anyone else have this issue? Is thare a solution?
Just tried it and no issue, also on LFB stock rom with Siyah kernel. Reboot in recovery and clear cache and reboot. If you encounter other issues better do a factory reset in backup and restore, backup files before to pc or restore with TB

Clean as mentioned above yesterday. Issue still remains. Sucks actually
Went all the way back to XXALE8 version and did the wipe/factory reset, now all works. Did a phoneupgrade to LF5. Evrything till works. Thare´s no more phone liveupdate after that.
I guess the new LFB version is breaking somethin.
Hello, i have a problem with my friends phone (s6 edge). After some time it upgraded to 7.0.0 his googleapps crashed entirely, no playstore etc, so we had to restore it through the Samsung smart app -> emergency firmware etc after we took a backup of his files.
The phone was completely restored BUT after connecting to the wifi or data to connect online, the tittle message spam him all the time. Did so google research, even got to recovery to reset it again to factory but i had no luck. Custom Rom is a no-go since its still under warranty. I though of restoring it to 6.0.1 through odin but ive read thats not 100% working.
Any insights?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply.
I am afraid i have already tried that.
Wiped cache , wiped dalvic , did a factory wipe through the recovery mode. It didn't help

Try a package disable app to stop it from occurring.
I'm on Android 10 april update and want to reinstall stock android 10 rom. My phone is not rooted, Bootloader locked and no custom recovery install.
The closest thing to reinstall for you is to perform a factory reset. If you want to reflash whole rom, unlock the bootloader and flash stock rom via fastboot. Not sure why would you want to do that though.

After installing April update (perviously on Android 10 march update) and using it for few hours, my phone got stuck so I rebooted by holding power down button. Error appeared " Can't load Andoid system. Your data might be corrupted". I was forced to factory reset and lost my data. Installed my apps again and reboot for some reason only to be presented by same error again. So I thought reinstalling rom might fix this error.

It would be useful to troubleshoot why the phone doesn't boot (with "adb shell logcat") - on fully stock phone it might be caused by some app or HW defect. Logcat should reveal the reason for crash. What's the status of your phone now?

Factory reset again, installed apps and rebooted it twice. Fortunately, it didn't happen again but I'm still worried. I didn't flash stock rom. Just factory reseted.

Enable ADB in developer settings so you can troubleshoot it if your phone crashes again.
