hey in baked blackbean 8 rom there is a gpu acceleration setting in baked settings init.d/propmoder do you use gpu acceleration in your rom or not not just asking for this rom but any rom

Gpu clock is tied into the live oc in most custom kernel
Nexus⁴ PAC 360° Productions
I know that. But I'm asking is GPU acceleration better to use or not to use

Could be possible. Gb can work without acceleration but maybe performance will improve.maybe anyone can port it from aosp if it haves.

Could any dev develop a gaming rom ?

Really? No dev is going to listen to you.
Just dl a rom and siyah kernel and over clock your device. The s2 can handle pretty much any game even at 1000mhz.

Sorry dude but... even stock roms can handle all the current games on market...
If you wish to tweak your device do as kilometers4 said... flash any rom with siyah kernel...
Gaming kernel/script sounds more likely to be made

Why? S2 runs perfectly any game available for Android. Stock rom, AOSP, you name it. Dual-core processor and a high-quality GPU makes the combo.
Imo galaxy s2 runs every game
But not perfectly some of them gets laggy some, times like modern combat 3
And overclocking aint an option for me
Because the device already gets way to hot when playing games

I am agree with this topic. plz dev. make a rom for hard core gamers
Just install light , optimised kitkat rom (ex. SlimSaber 4.4.4). Instal DorimanX kernel , set CPU speed 400Mhz min -1300Mhz (1400 if your CPU can handle that) , set maximum GPU speed to 400Mhz (440 if you GPU can handle that). Use odemand/row as a awake grov./schred. . Remember. SII is a 2011 Double Core 1GB ram device!
During the installation of the viper3D (275) ROM I can choose between clockspeeds (I'm using the synergy ROM atm so I know I can overclock it to 1,7ghz and still be stable) the gout clock can be raises to 320, is this safe? And as last what is the difference between ROM controlled overclocking and kernel controlled overclocking?

Overclocking is all in the kernel. The GPU clock speed (the one you're referring to at 320mhz) is the graphics processor, technically its not being overclocked, its being brought back up to the Qualcomm default speed

Isnt qualcomm stock speed at 300 mhz?
However it should be save...

I would suggest you dont go anywhere near 1.4 ghz....All other setting....leave it at htc default...Vsync=off and the last option..make sure you choose.Rom MAnage cpu clock or something.......i forget the words...i met trouble letting kernel manage the cpu clock....
Hey,is avabile the kernel with GPU overclocking for Mango?

Check kernel panic. Changelog has something about gpu overclock.

I installed LuPuS kernel. In CPU Master Pro don't see any overclocking GPU ; the options ''Sampling rate'' , ''ignore nice load'' ''up treshold'' are overclockering?

Just check out Kernel Tuner *root* on Play Store. It has an option for GPU Overclocking. I have tested it on my Xperia S ( Adreno 220 ) and it works fine Haven't tried it on my mini though.
actually theres none xperia mdpi or hdpi kernel with oc gpu. adreno205 simply cant be oc.
the discussion to oc it is since the desire hd days, but none succeeded with good result.
raising the gpu freq manually in kernel source made phone lag.

Thanks a lot. Didn't know that. For OP - if you want better 3D performance, just search for new adreno libs and flash via CWM. Also, add this line to build.prop - debug.gr.swapinterval=0
This uncaps your FPS limit by telling the GPU not to wait until the entire screen loads. Many people say that this causes tearing of the screen image but it works absolutely fine on our Xperia 2011 range. It gives you a massive boost.

What is Ignore nice load?
Hi, I'm seeing a option on my CPU MASTER PRO under advanced category of ignore nice load just wanna know what is it? Please reply thanks
Why is gpu overclock at 476mhz and it doesn't affect performance and causing too much lag after activating it? I think its better to overclock it at 357mhz only.

You flashed Kash Kernel !! Right ??
Overclocking is enabled by default in this kernel.... If overclocking is causing lag then flash default GPU modules given in the OP of this kernel's thread !!

But it doesn't have any effect. Can't feel the gpu at @476mhz. It just like overclocking a Nexus 5 cpu at 3ghz is non sense after all. Im just wondering why is it @476mhz would it be the highest frequency possible of a powervrsgx544 at safe is @357mhz you can found it at mt6589t chipsets. Yes im pertaining to kash kernel, so if it is on default modules the frequency is also on default @286mhz because in the kash kernel thread the author said if the gpu overclock causes lag then flash the default modules therefore the overclock is remove and reverted back to the original frequency. And also you can see that there is a separate zip for activating the gpu @476mhz, so think overclocking it at 476mhz is useless because it causes lag, and flashing the default modules will remove the lag and also the overclock. And the last but not the least sir, the 476mhz frequency is not enabled by default it is written in the thread sir. But if you don't believe me sir, kindly teach me how to replace ramdisk.
