Dear all,
I have found a strange problem in the official release of Galaxy S II ICS ROM XXLPQ. When on Developer Options you check the "Force GPU Rendering" You cannot change the wallpaper of your home screen. Gallery Crashes all the time. Only Live Wallpaper can be used. Has anyone came across this problem.
Also please advise how to fix it?

Disable gpu rendering, change wallpaper, then enable it back?

I am doing it right now but its shouldn't be a normal practise. It Is irritating. There must be a fix.

With it enabled it just crash alot of stuff, apps not optimized for it yet obviously. Better off disabling it

Root your phone or live with it are the only options you have unfortunately.

Is there anyway that i can turn the jeybiard vibration off but the capacitive buttons vibration are on?
Without flashing a custom rom

I believe there is a setting for that. If you go to settings > input and language and select the keyboard you use, there should be a setting to turn off haptic feedback/disable vibration.

I had "set input method" shortcut in notification area when keyboard was active when I was on 4.0.4 stock, 4.1.1, and 4.1.2 Omega ROM v35 and some other ROMs.
But when I flushed Omega v36 XXELLA, this shortcut wont pop up any more.
There are some apps that can overcome this, but I liked this ICS and JB functionality very much.
Does somebody know how to enable it again?
Thanks.

Maybe in omega settings somewhere

It's probably removed from new ROM, but I didn't find info about that in change log.
Thanks anyway.

It seems as though the Samsung keyboard doesn't auto add or prompt to add to the custom dictionary. Anyone else?

Welcome! Lol. Yeah, we've known about this for awhile. Search for Adrynalyne's fix. Google it.

Does anyone know have Samsung keyboard apk? If you have, can you post the attachment? Thank you!
Just go into the settings touch predictive text then select personalized data, it will remember things then

Not for autocorrect, it won't.
Beans 7 has option to install with Sammy keyboard with auto correct ... loving it!!
