No, It will switch to the 2.0 (S4 Version), but you can remove the update from the application manager and it will return to the S3 version. Hope I helped

I got the app to work on Note 10.1 (2014 edition). I installed the app on S3 phone. Comes up on both devices then instantly closes on S3 phone. The reason I am asking this I believe there a lot of users of the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 phones that might like this ability to work like on the new Galaxy S tablets and Galaxy S5 phones.

Also got problems with running it. Only old version can be installed on my Note P605 and on PC there is only version 3.0 available. After connecting tab to PC nothing happens.
Soft do not find my tablet. If any of you make it work please share how to?
I downloaded SideSync 3 from Aptoide to my P-605 & using it with my S5 mobile. Works normally

Is there a way to load this app on my Note and view the screen from the a PC? It seems the app can only view a phone's screen and not act in reverse.
You can change the product name in the build.prop to sm-p905 too, this will allow you to install anything that installs on a note pro

It works fine on my S4. The phone must be running kitkat. Unfortunately you are not able to make or receive calls through the tablet, but all other features work fine.
i was able to download this on my p600 with the play store no problem but it says not compatible on my s4 active for work. i cant root it so i hope i can do something.
Does any1 have a problem with call forwarding ?
I've got note 10.1 2014 edition and note 3 lte stock rom, stock kernel.
Sidesync 3.0 works great beside call forwarding. When some1 calling me I only can see it on my phone. On the tablet is jus black screen.
Any1 got the same problem and solution ?!

I have SideSynce running on my phone and tablet. I can connect to my phone from my tablet and can control the phone within the tablet.
I only have one problem. If I try to write a text for example in Whatsapp the keyboard doesn't get shown if I tap into the textfield.
Does someone has a solution ?

I use my S-Pen w/ Direct input
On November 2014 I bought Gear S which i paired with my samsung galaxy s3 neo. Sometimes the smart watch stopped to work and I was able to reactivate the Gear S only after resetting it.
On 23 February after experiencing another arrest of the Gear s I downloaded from Galaxy apps the latest version of gear manager (2.2.14110499). After I have installed the gear manager I wasn’t able to reactivate my gear s although it paired with my galaxy S3 neo. In particular the gear manager is not able to download the additional software and I receive the following message: “Unable to connect to the gear. Connection to the gear is not supported by your mobile device…” Moreover just beneath the above message appear a writing during just some seconds stating: “Download url not available, can’t launchPlugin!”
What is not working? My gear s or the new gear manager?
Can someone help me? Thanks

I'm using Android 4.4.2
Hmmm. Well, in order for the S to be compatible with your Samsung phone, you have to have 4.4+, non-mod touchwiz, and the gear manager (and the supporting apps... Sam Store, IAP, etc).
Is it a custom ROM or stock? If stock, when was your last OTA update?

I think I found fraud. For some days now in the official Samsung website (at least in the Italian site) neo s3 is no longer listed among the smart phones compatible with Gear S. Is this behavior legal? I hope Samsung solves this mess as soon as possible.

Problem solved! I followed the procedure reported in another thread :"Tutorial: Install Gear Manager and connect to Non-Samsung Devices" and now all seems to work perfectly. Fortunately XDA exists. Thanks

This app is only available if you reside in the U.S. And only available on select GALAXY devices..SEE HERE.
Even further complications to get this app on a Non-Samsung device are as follows;
1 - Samsung account is required.
2 - One of the supported devices must be registered via Samsung account.
Basically unless you have one of the supported devices the app wont even show in the app store to download. The app knows the device your using and syncs via Samsung and account.
The only way youre going to be able to trick that app is to manually change your build.prop device name to a supported samsung device, somehow register a supported samsung device on your account, as well the regional location issue if located outside U.S which Samsung will know via ip address.
Good Luck! And no offense to anyone but that app is by Samsung and for Samsung unfortunately, if you want/wanted that specific app you should/should've get/got a Samsung device.

I noticed that the Game Live.apk wasn't on the Verizon Galaxy Tab S6. I was able to port a version over that is currently working. Does anyone notice there are stock apps missing? Any recommendations?
There no Dual Messenger. I really like this app/feature but sadly based om the official info on Samsung's website the Tab S6 is not supported. T_T

I saw it was listed in the galaxy store, I think you can download it now
I attempted to try to port over the Galaxy Themes, but let's just say that was an epic fail. I will definitely keep trying it!
