need a help guys , can anyone try porting CWM for Galaxy Ace Duos SCH-i589 ??
Try using the Ace recovery on your phone. It is most likely to work because both phones are similar to each other.

my galaxy ace freezed yesterday
so i asked my brother to help me out
i dont know what he did but he deleted the .android folder from my sdcard
and since then everytime i try to switch on my mobile just the startup screen is shown that contains
galaxy ace
gt-s5830
samsung
can someone please tell me how to fix this problem?

Hi Guys
I bought a Samsung galaxy Ace Advance Gt-S6800
I have tried everything possible to root this device but running into a brick wall..
I tried most root.zip versions and the universal v25 but nothing is working..
I always get operation aborted.
I cant find this device on XDA either. its a fairly new phone and was released about 2months ago..
Can anyone help me with this device and or give me some info .
I want to root it and maybe upgrade from gingerbread 2.3.6 which is the default android version.. to ICS if possible..
Any help or info would me much appreciated..

Clone S3 is not an S3. It's a different phone completely, that just happens to LOOK like an S3. We don't know the answer.
Imagine the S3 is a house brick and the clone is a block of butter, painted red. You can't ask a builder to build a house when all you have got are blocks of red butter.

but even if it is clone... ive succesfully rooted it..... my clone is from korea ... after i root it i want to install the CWM ... i have search the recoverX Thread... it install Recovery (CWM, xRecovery, Amon-Ra) to many android devices..... but i didnt know if it is safe in s3 clone from korea...

Is your IMEI intact? Dial *#06# to see if you have your IMEI. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
yes the phone has imei
I tried custom rom and I even flashed it again with 5830m firmware it also didn't work...I don't know what else to do

Did you do the data wipes before installing the rom? If not try Wipe Data/ factory reset, Wipe cache partitions, Format /system, Wipe Dalvik cache from CWM. Now reinstall the stock rom using odin. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
