Quick question, fellows!
Is there a way to make the hangout apps (apps inside the hangout) work with android devices?
Thanks in advance!

I've been looking for an answer to this too.. But the fact that I can't find the answer seems to indicate that a) it isn't possible and b) it isn't likely to be in development. Would love someone to show me I'm wrong though

hi there,
just got my galxaxy tab 10.1v yesterday. and now i'm wondering how to find out in the market, which apps are written for honeycomb?
what i need is something like a filter-option, like with the ipad and the appstore. there the apps for the iphone and ipad are shown in different panes, and you can easily tell whether an app is for pad or phone.
thanks for your answers
Yes, a filter is definitely needed.
There is already a list of Honeycomb apps being built in this forum. It's pretty hard to miss - it's the thread right above yours

i do know this thread above, and there's a similar one in xoom-forum, too.
but those threads need to be updated by xda-members, e.g. when they "randomly" discover an app. so if no xda-member is willing to update those threads, you'll never get to know the latest apps for your beloved tab
such a filter in the market would automatically show those apps.
If you sign-on in the market and you click on the App name it tells you in the application is compatible with your device.

Not even necessary. If it shows up in the Market, then it's compatible with your device (according to the developer). Non-compatible apps are not shown.
HC optimized is another story. What people really seem to want is a filter for tablet optimized (not just compatible) apps. But for reasons I've pointed out in another thread on the same topic this isn't likely to happen anytime soon.

Somebody should start a google docs spreadsheet and ppl can update it by themselves.
Digita1One was right. The best way to check compatibility for now is logging into your market account on your computer and click on the app name, on the left side right below the name of the app, it tells it's compatible with your tab or not. Just showing up in your market on your tab doesn't mean those apps are compatible. Hope this helps.

Actually, yes it does, when you're looking at the market from your device.

Actually, the market on my tab shows both Facebook and words with friends but then does not allow me to install them.

As I said in post #5, its up to the developer/publisher to code the compatibility of the apps in the market listing. Google doesn't police the market the way that Apple does. Most developers do a good job and mark their apps appropriately; a small number do not.
Hi all,
Is it possible to disable "PSM available" notification (looks like dualshock contoller in the bottom status bar) on non-rooted XPERIA S tablet?
I have no interest in this particular app and I don't want to be bugged about it all the time. Unfortunately, I can't find the way to remove this notification w/o installing the app.
Sony drives me mad with their bloatware. This is getting out of hand.

I know that it's a little bit late for an answer, but I think that this is important so people who are looking for solution in search engines must have the answer. You need to deactivate INSTALLKICKER from application. Bye.

Thanks mate. Much appreciated!
I use Hangouts, and I like to use the pre-composed replies while at work (especially in a meeting), where I can't do a verbal reply. Does anyone know of a way to customize those replies or add new replies? I didn't find anything specifically in Hangouts regarding that.
This is another one of those things where I don't know if it's a Wear thing, a Hangout thing, or what.

Install the rom that was linked over in the other thread and increase the intensity even more if you like it. Works like a charm

what I meant is it could be done only with root, but it is a feature that is not currently available. I'll see what I can do
Sorry, I thought it was possible at the moment. The only reason why I'm not using wear messenger as a default sms app is that I can't just mark sms as "read" (it's what I do most of the times). Thank you so much for considering the request.
Can you add the hangout to wear responses by wear messenger?
Thanks

Hi guys, I need your help.
I keep getting "the side button do not work on the 360" reviews on the Playstore and I don't really know why, since I don't have a 360 and in the emulator everything works as expected.
Anyone with this issue?
When I try to send a text thru the app it shows as being sent, however on my phone the message isn't there and the person never received the message.

It took a while to figure out, but it seems the little envelope on the side gets mistaken for the button to pull up the quick replies.
question about sending
How do you send messages starting anew such as hitting the wear messenger name I said the name of the contact and the message but how to send it because when a hit the button that was under the microphone it didn't send anything

Now that we have RCS capability on Sprint and the V30 are there other messaging apps that support RCS with our phones number?
Not referring to whatsap etc but a third party chat program that supports RCS as well
On your topic, I use the Silence application
