My apologies everyone, I have been out of state for the past week. Please note that the last recovery I posted was broken. I will be able to update everything and bring some surprises on Sunday
Hello All,
Some of you may remember me from the S2...unfortunately the thing shattered and broke. So I here I am with the HTC One

Actually Team-Noctural.com has uploaded the deodexed and odex of this by XsMagical. If you're looking for a Tmobile rom that's stock or custom, we have some over at http://forums.team-nocturnal.com/forumdisplay.php/518-HTC-One, but they will also make their way over here. Cheers mate.

Hey yaldak! I also came from he S2 forum and nice to see you here
I flashed a custom ROM to my One a few days ago and have decided to go back to rooted stock...Ive downloaded the zip from the Nocturnal crew so we'll see how it goes. Nice to see you here though!
Sticking with stock for the following reasons:
- Device is relatively new
- Sense 5 is quite...nice actually
- HTC seems to be on their game with security and customizability of the stock ROM

Do you think you could put a how-to flash for the new users? Could help greatly.
And can't wait for the debloated ROM!

Hold the power button till I goes black & then hold volume down till u boot into bootloader, select recovery. If u get that far. Let me know, but U should have never flashed thus
Team-Noctural.com/androidtechy.com/droidnow.com.
No I didn't flash this just was hoping I could use this as an ruu. I think I know what I did. I was on cm10 and flashed straight to sense again without flashing a kernel so its boot looping. But it won't let me get into recovery anymore. Only the boot loader. Any ideas?

Fastboot flash boot boot.img if that's what u need, plus if u can get into bootloader then select recovery from there to get into recovery

Okay so I got it into recovery finally. Had to erase cache from fast boot to get it. But I have nothing on internal. How can I push something to it? I have your ROM and stock kernel ready to go.

Yeah, just unlock your bootloader and flash a custom recovery. I recommend TWRP since it's more touch orientated (designed better) than ClockworkMod. Then download a ROM and follow instructions.
For those that have flashed Int. ROMs and have TWRP, did you use dumlock or flash the boot.img in fastboot? If anyone has used dumlock, can you write up how you used to get a good flash? I am coming from Sammy, so all of this is very new to me and I am trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks.

So you just flashed in recovery like normal? Nothing else?
This phone is super confusing, keep reading about flashing a boot.img before flashing a ROM or using dumlock. Can not find a straight answer to what I need to do to go from rooted stock to a ROM.

As usual HTC left off some security on the released version of this phone's HBOOT.
The One X on AT&T was like this too when it first came out. We could even flash RADIOS on that thing.
I am pretty sure the discovery that you can flash boot.img from recovery is pretty new.

No, this is encrypted rom zip. You can flash it via fastboot (fastboot oem rebootRUU, fastboot flash zip name_of_zip.zip), or wait for developer to put it into a custom ROM for you. I suggest you wait for custom ROMs to be posted based on this released. Otherwise you might as well just run the RUU executable file which can be downloaded direct from HTC.

NICE! Thanks. Wonder how he got it working and nobody else can. I know people have been bugging Mike for ages to see if he could get it in HD, but everyone says it doesn't work.
So what would be the difference between flashing this and the RUU? RUU updates Hboot, and this does not?

This is for the devs to make a Custom Rom and if you flash this via fastboot you get the same result as an RUU.

Is there any chance this could be uploaded with an updated host? I can't get it anymore.
I'm in trouble without it haha.
Thanks!
Ditto...I'd like it too. I just got the phone a few days ago, and want a stock rooted ROM. I assumed it would have the latest OTA when I got it, but it didn't and I already rooted and flashed a custom recovery. I'd prefer not to have to revert just to get the update.

You can go to stock completely but it's de-odexed so OTA's would not install
so i could flash this rom
install stock recovery
remove root from this rom after flashing
remove tampered banner
lock bootloader again
then its stock without ota support right ?
or does the thread owner has the stock not rooted secure boot and not deodexed laying around somewhere too ??
would you upload it ?

You should find the RUU for your specific device. If you are unlocked and S-OFF you can RUU back to what ever version you can find then take the OTA's.

with a deodexed rom it makes it much easier for removing of apps for instance i was able to get rid of nearly all the htc apps, twitter and facebook... when i originally tried to do it with rom toolbox before it would only uninstall the updates and still leave the original app... also with this it should conceivably be easier to start porting roms to our phone...

I dont know truth be told.. there are some differences between the at&t model and the eu model... so i wouldn't advise trying it but.. i do know that some people who have the eu model have flash the at&t rom successfully... as always I can't take any responsibility for any problems occur from flashing it..
