I liked it, next time since we all know you're "Blue Collar" you could call it "Blue Collar Review: HTC One" or w/e phone you do next.
That way you don't have to feel the need to tell everyone that you are. Other than that I think it was pretty good, no one starts out great, you'll get there!

I liked your opinions, they were helpful. The only critcism I would say is your camera angle and view. Maybe you should have a brief into looking at you, then after your intro flip your angle to the phone and show demo's of features of what you like on the phone itself. Typically when I watch reviews I want to see the product. Just waving it around didnt do it for me, but I liked your thoughts and opinions.
Good work man

I really like this review and I didn't mind that you added the bit about you being a blue collar worker and you wanted to look at the phone with a bit of that perspective. I thought that was a good addition to add. The only thing was a lot of "umm" here and there when you were trying to get a point across. I like that it had a more informal style and it sounded like it really came straight from what you were thinking there and not scripted and very formal. But becoming more confident and getting over the nervousness will really make it a lot better because when your nervous and using "umm" a lot, it makes it sound like you aren't too sure of yourself. I liked the video and subscribed because I think you got potential and I liked the style. Hopefully you'll do some more reviews of stuff and maybe even go over individual features you like about the One. Would be a good way to get more practice. Keep up the good work dude!

it's pretty

it's very helpful:good:

Heres a few tips.
You tried to give the viewer a diffrent real world perspective from your point of view.
1. You mention blue collar and im a welder etc.
Suggestion. How the htc one holds up well on the job. Beign a welder myself battery life etc etc is very important. And you can site more examples like importance of it in remote locations etc. Where my job takes me etc a Real world outdoor experiance with the htc one.
People dont need to hear/know blue collar etc. And office job etc.
What you can do is spin it in that sense. Not only like does it connect the user with a scenario but it highlights the devices strengths.
2. The method your speaking etc is just like the way you'd speak to a friend. You can use this style just need to refine it more.
Ill keep pondering and update.

Android Has It's New King, HTC EVO 3D (Review)

What's up XDA community? I just joined the forums today and thought I would get your opinions on my review of the HTC EVO 3D. I am the CEO/Owner of TheGamerAccess.com and published this review a few days before the release thanks to a review unit from the Sprint team. The link to the review is below. Look forward to hearing what you guys think!

Thanks for the review...and welcome.

Good review! there will be similar specs, but no other with 3D and the htc brand in a while(@ least in 2011)

Nicely done. Your review fairly well parallels my experience with the device over the past several weeks. I see so many people complain about this or that, but I must be lucky to get one without defects (that I've noticed so far). This phone is definitely an upgrade from the EVO Shift (though I do miss the hardware keyboard).

This is the best phone I own, I really like the speed, feel and look of the phone, people at work also like my phone, since i bought it I have received several nice comments on the phone, and several coworkers have bought one for themselves. Your review is very well done, and bookmarked, thank you for your post.

Hey wildcat. That is correct. The issue did not impact everyone and while I have no way of proving it to you now, I was able to watch Green Hornet before its release without any problems.
Great review you did. One thing worth a mention is that some of the bloatware is (sort of) uninstable. It still stays on your phone but it takes it out of your app drawer and, I believe, it won't autostart anymore. I'm pretty sure most or all new Sprint phones will be the same here on out.
How about you tell your Sprint Comrads S-Off

I would just leave the review the way it is, no need in promoting rumors, no one has s -off so no need in promoting something that no one has.
I agree, decent review. Only thing I disagree on is the camera button. I could have been well implemented, but ends up being a waste of space. maybe they will update the software in the future to improve on the focus response time when using the camera button.

Get off the internet entirely then. This is inevitable and bound to eventually happen. You can avoid android, google, gmail, but there will always be another site you use that do the exact same thing your trying to avoid. (Facebook? bing? Yahoo? etc... )
Your fighting an already lost war.
apple has been caught doing worse to their consumers, WP7 has complete "crap" you are agreeing to when you first start your phone up, but obviously nobody reads all of it. now google yaaaaay. looks like blackberry will be the only protected OS, along with whatever Nokia is working on. cant wait for BB10
Maybe I am missing something here but I fail to see why this is a bad thing. Sure they collect and store your information but its to better serve you as the user across all of their services.

So Big Brother watching over is ok with some I guess. It's not "bad," it's invasive. Who's to say Google won't start selling my search profile to marketing teams to start spamming? If it's to help serve us, why isn't it optional? Who really thinks Google isn't good enough as it is? There is no reason for this. Facebook tried something similar yrs ago when I was on that site, but everyone revolted so they changed their mind.

Well mind you, people can't see your information since all of them are tied together using a program that will pick your likes and output it to you. Unless they made an internal program within google company to sift through all those data just to grab some dirt on a politician or something...... Are you a politician? IF not, then you got nothing to worry about....

Tried? They do that now! Have been.
I am not a lawyer but I'm still not seeing how merging privacy policies gives Google more data. I would think they had the data before, it's one company.
Personally I was a freaked out more by the Google DART cookie setup a few years back. When Google basically said we are going to have this cookie on your computer tracking what you do. Since so many sites use Google Analytics, Google AdSense, etc. that means they know a lot about what you do even outside of Google sites. Since you can't really "log-out" of Google services on your Android phone I've always wondered how much they track.
Google ad opt out add on, moved email to hushmail and deleted contacts. I win.. unless they truly don't delete stuff. If not that should be illegal.

Great phone so far!

This is my first HTC for a while. It's a great phone compared to my S3. The keyboard is awesome, screen is amazing in daylight (unlike the S3) and the speakers are awesome. One thing I do enjoy is how simple the new UI is, as well as BlinkFeed. I read a lot on my phone so that's perfect. Not much time with the camera though.

Nothing is close atm. I am lucky that I get to use all of the newest phones and the One just blows everything else away. I wish the home button was centered, but this phone is silky smooth. Off the top of my head I can not think of anything I liked better on the S3 than on the One.

If anyone else with a different history had posted this, would you guys have still raked them over the coals? The topic interests me. It seems like most of you are letting your dislike for the OP cloud your judgement. It's a valid thread.
Personally, I don't use battery saver mode and I get through a day just fine. I have been tempted to try it out, though, just to see what difference it makes. Can anyone tell me what affect it has on performance? Do you still receive emails right away when it's on?
One of the things I like about the HTC One is how buttery smooth it is and I'd hate to sacrifice performance for battery life.

By far the best review of the LG G2 on the internet...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_iLQmPOrcE
Everything else look amateurish next to this review...
She raises some great concerns about the G2, regarding the following topics:
1. Screen color accuracy.
2. GPS accuracy.
3. Camera exposure.
After watching that entire piece (about an hour long) you become very aware just how many shortcomings this phone has... and it's still one of the best options we have now.

No, everything looks less OCD compared to that review. I have been following her channel for a while but she gets too technical now about things that 95% of people will either not care about or even notice. And she has been known to show a strong bias towards Samsung.
1. The last I checked there is not a single person doing graphic design on their phones or watching the majority of their movies or television on their phones. Who cares that much about color accuracy? As long as the screen pops and doesn't have any super noticeable problems then who really cares?
2. The GPS locks quick and takes me to where I need to go consistently. Who cares if it doesn't show me sitting on my couch and it's a little off?
3. It's a phone and it has been well documented that that this camera takes very respectable shots in most situations. Did I already say it's a phone?

3. It's a phone and it has been well documented that that this camera takes very respectable shots in most situations. Did I already say it's a phone?

she could have a faulty unit but I use my GPS a lot and if your driving somewhere, well its good for the phone to tell you that your on the highway when your on the highway and not on a small road. happens several time with my past phone which is very annoying
the night camera video recording is very...bad to say the least. thank god there is fix in the android developement section but it shouldnt be like this in 2013, I had the HTC G2 and it did that (14fps at night) reason why I switch to samsung.

her review is all kinds of wrong, she calls the g2 a midsize phone when its really a small phone, for example

G2 is anything but midsizze or small size...the **** is large, the note 3 is huge...
Never been a fan of her...
yeah, personally i can't stand her. idk why so many people like her stuff. i prefer lisa from mobile tech review...she rocks.
She called knock-knock "useless"....whaaaat....?

Who holds their phone like that?? With ur thumb in the middle of the screen??
I tried it on my Verizon LG G2 and it does not come on that often, but if it does. It does not open any apps!!
She must have "magical" thumbs!!

I totally agree. She is way too OCD about things. Im subscribed to her channel and she definitely knows what shes talking about in general but for example, she said that the note 3 display is a let down. Its her opinion but I think the display is great. But she does a great job at going in depth of things.

in my opinion the best reviews come from either lisa from mobile tech review or pocket now(mainly michael fisher)
both present pros and cons straightforward with very little bias for any device/manufacturer
everyone else is either crazy or being paid for

Hows your Note 3 treating you? You're coming from the G2 right?

Bro I am still using my One,not decided on what to choose between S4,G2 and Note 3
I don't understand all these comments about her having obsessive compulsive disorder. You get the most professional review to date, and you criticize her for having OCD ? why ? because she found many flaws with the phone ? that's a lame excuse.

I have been subscribed to her channel for awhile so personally im not saying it just from this video. She definitely knows what she is talking about and I guess she looks at everything with a microscopic eye so to speak. She might be bothered by the gamut or saturation or whatever the case may be about a disolay, I just look at it and if it looks good then its good to go.

I can find lots of flaws with anything. That doesn't make my points professional, legitimate, or noteworthy. Her points are nitpicky and opinionated, which makes them come across as "OCD".
