Hi.
My name is Martin.
I live in Latvia and that's where the problem is. I can't use Google now, because it ain't available in my country yet. I tried going in options but it wouldn't even give me an option to enable the Google now. OK, I understand it cannot offer much useful information, because Latvia isn't made available yet, but I want to enable it anyway.
Is there a way to enable Google now without actually moving to US or something?

i think you can use vpn or ssh of american to enable google now in your phone, but if google service not availble in your country, google now will not be so useful in your country too
Google at least exists in Latvia (evidenced by http://www.google.lv/ ), but I have no idea about when the Google Now service will be implemented.
I know this doesn't help much, but this is good for me to know, since I'm planning a visit to Latvia fairly soon, and even tossed around the idea of teaching English there.
you should set your device's language to English US, then go to apps, google search, app info, and delete all data, swipe you screen for google search, and you're good to go.

Does anyone know why Navigation (and Google Earth, and other Google software) is not available in most countries?
I mean, I have downloaded the hacked application from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007132 and Navigation works just fine in my country. I have also used MarketEnabler to download Google Earth and it also works pretty fine.
Why would Google not enable them, then????
I can't find an answer to this anywhere.
Nobody knows?
Laws made by your country.

I'm positively, absolutely sure there's no law in my country preventing google (or anyone else) to enable navigation (or google earth, etc.).
Just in case, I asked the local telecom if they had any restriction about this (like if they were about to provide a competing product) and they said they don't have any restriction, nor any idea why google would do this.
Amazing.
Several days, and nobody knows the reason.

click on menu (left button) and go to Settings -> Google Voice. You need to change the language there too in order to have it speaking to you
my friend's S3 recently received an update to JB. he updated it through Kies. He decided to test the new feature of the google search app called Google Now but he cant see it. Going to the settings of the said app, there should be an option for Google NOw there, but in his phone, there is none. Even the UI which is supposed to show mountains and cards is not in his S3's google search app, his is just plain search box UI.
What could be are the problems?
Look at your apps, it's simply called Google. (blue box, white G) and when launched it gives some info on Google now and asks if you want to use it. In Applications Manager it says Google Search.

Hi Everyone.
I'm hoping someone will have a solution for me coz this problem is driving me mad now. Anytime I use Google Now/Voice search, the response is being read out in US English, as opposed to UK English, it used to be in the UK variant but something, somewhere must have changed.
I've resorted to restoring a UK ROM and wiping the device totally, including local storage so it got returned to being a device straight out of the box.
No matter have many settings to do with region that I find and make sure is set to English UK, it always speaks in US. Whats even more frustrating is, it's only this that's doing it, anything else that uses TTS speaks in the correct English, UK.
Any help would be great, even if someone knows what the language data is stored so I can delete it and see if it's then forced to use the UK variant. I've checked all around my actual Google account to see if it's getting a language setting from that, but again, everything is set to UK.

Hi,
I'm wondering there is a way to post a review on Google Play in another country? For example, I'm in Poland and I want to post a review for app, but I want to do this in english and I want my opinion has been seen by people in the US or UK. How to achieve that? I should login to google play by a US proxy or create a google account and mark that I'm from US?
I don't know that I wrote it in right place, so if not, sorry .

try
Go to Google Play Developer Console.
Select an app.
On the left menu, select Ratings & Reviews > Ratings.
See how your app has performed by country, language, device, app version, or Android version. To change the time period or minimum number of ratings required to display a country, language, device, etc., select the drop-down arrows Drop-down arrow.
