I am a noob .I was trying to S-off my HTC amaze with controlbear wiretrick method but i got stuck with still subr try again
and now when i power on the cell i got this screen and i have unlocked my bootloader before from htc dev i am not able to go to recovery mode or bootloader . Any help will be appretiated look for the attachments below the thread i have attached images
Justhappened to me. If recovery isn't loading, go to bootloader, flash a recovery using hasoon2000s kit, thenflash yr backup. Remember to enable smartflash.

I have exactly the same problem dude...
I found a solution for my problem, maybe it can help you aswell?
My goal was to have a rooted EVO 3D with LeeDroid's Custom ROM on it.
1.) Use HTC Super Tool v3 to root your phone! (Just follow the on-screen steps)
2.) Download Rom Manager from the market and install CWM Recovery
3.) Now you can flash a custom ROM on your device

You still have have the same Hboot version and S-on (I tried to attempt S-Off with super tool, but i got an error message)
but your phone is rooted and you have CWM on it!
Guys guys download the ruu from the stickies in dev forum for your device run it will downgrade your bootloader to 1.49.007 then root with HTC supertool then allowing you to unlock bootloader with rev rather than htcdev so you can lock it again without the relock sign means if you want to go back to stock re run ruu takes out cwm then take the ota update back to stock locked bootloader not relocked did post a thread about this but as usual I just get ingnored

I downloaded this file "PG86IMG" than I put it on my sd-card and I tried to install it with hboot. No change at all, maybe I have to relock the bootloader?
Or is there another way to "install" the RUU?

First of all im glad that i found someone like me Hboot 1.49.0018. After of 1 week of searching something that to work my htc evo 3d, i dont find nothing.
Also i unlocked my phone but here im stuck. Itried to flash my phone but it doesnt enters in recovery
Pls post a solutian for our problems, and make it from scratch, cuz personally im noobie.

I just unlocked my flyer with htc unlock.. as I already did the upgrade to HC and thought I would have root fastest this way...
But I still don't have root!
I'm in the bootloader and it says unlocked but also that it's S-on
How do I proceed to get root acces, which I need for a certain app....
Do I try and install a custom rom or is there something else I need to do at this junction???
Which custom rom and can I just use fastboot????
My HBoot is 1-11.0011

Look at the revolutionary s off thread. What you need is to flash a custom recovery which is linked there. This is done through fastboot. Once you have recovery you need to get the su.zip listed in same thread and place it on your external sd, boot into recovery through hboot and then install zip from ed and sellect su zip

I did that... but...
When I try to use fastboot to downgrade my hboot it says remote: signature verify fail ...
I tried redownloading but that didn't help...
Why downgrade your hboot? Maybe I am wrong but if you unlocked it using HTC dev you should be able to flash custom recovery

I can't ....
I tried just now and got remote: image error! (Bootmagic check fail)
I downloaded a recovery rom (pg41img.zip) and used fastboot flash recovery PG41img.zip
Also when I try to enter the 'current' recovery I get an image of a flyer with a red lightning in front of it... so I've never been in the recovery although that should be unlocked....

Once you have recovery you need this

You place this on your external sd. Get into recovery, install zip from sd, select su-3.0-beta4-efgh-signed.zip
I can not help more past here because if this does not work you are either doing it wrong or the unlocked ota behaves differently then what I know

I go into fastboot and then type the commands on my windows pc right?
The console is on the pc, right?
Will try flashing the recovery rom... the problem with my hboot is that it's not revolutionary... that's why I thought I should downgrade...
Yes on pc, and if you are unlocked I believe the recovery should flash fine. Make sure you place the recovery zip in the same directory as your fastboot commands

I'm trying booting into recovery as we speak.. put the last zip on the sd-card... this is taking a long time... this is normal?
I've rooted three G1's and a Desire Z... this is my first flyer though...

It was the one for flyer.... And I can't get into recovery from the bootloader...
What happens when you sellect recovery? Just hangs black screen? Maybe redownload and reflash

It gives haptic feedback and the screen goes white w/ htc logo...

This is a recovery. Flash like other recovery. I may not of realized that a difference exist for hc recovery and gb. This last recovery was used to get recovery on hc leaks

I learned something, but it probably should of been intuative. Happy to hear it worked. When you flash su if after boot super user fc, go to market and update super user apk. Should fix issue

So I've been trying to install KingCobra3D for the past few hours

Everytime I try to reinstall it, I get stuck on the HTC screen. I had to restore my phone in Nandroid to be able to use it. For some info, my phone is unlocked using HBOOT-1.49.0011, S-ON, and I'm using 4EXT recovery to install the ROM.
Is there any app on the setting that I have to uncheck or are there any other ways in which I can make it work?

What could be the problem?
S-On is your problem I think. Basically most roms "install instructions" presume you are s-off unlocked, and s-off methods of flashing a Rom do not work for s-on users.
I'm s-off myself so haven't personally flashed a Rom on to an s-on phone but I think you need to use flashimage.GUI.

HI. I have a big problem... I tried flashing an OTA file with CWM recovery, and now I get to the HTC white screen with no Quitely brillant below
My hboot is unlocked and I am s-on
I could probable y access fastboot, though I cannot tell right now I cannot use it on the computer I have, but if I access fastboot I have the regular options, and the buttons works. if I choose recovey , I see a android CWM and a small bue progress bar and it reboots back to "Normal" wich is being the white HTC screen right now
I am able to access Hboot which makes me think that I can probably get out of this by flashing back my original RUU.
Pleasae tell me that i am right:

I was able to relock the hboot prior to running videotron Ruu executable file. This worked like a charm... I have learned my lesson. I'll wait for my turn to be pushed. Thank you all.

no, the bootloader needs to be locked to flash any ruu file
Dude flash stock recovery relock boot loader then flash the RUU most recent one. And if your gonna unlock boot again and flash another custom recovery us 4ext its the best one in my opinion a lot of options very simple nice user interface no troubles as of yet. Plus it basically like having S-Off cause of smart flash it flashes kernels together with rom. Its 3.00$ on market or you can get it for free from internet or other apps. I accidentally missed a step when flashing a custom ROM onto my HOX+, and now it hangs at the "HTC quietly brilliant" screen every time I turn it on (I can still get to recovery and bootloader though). I know that all I need to do is re-lock the bootloader and use the most recent RUU, but I cannot get my computer to detect my phone to re-lock the bootloader via the Hasoon2000 all-in-one kit. Is there another way to re-lock the bootloader without connecting to a computer? If not, what should I do?
