Noob here, but i have a problem with my OG. I successfully rooted my device, then i tried turning it off and back on a few hours later and i get the security error thing. I can't seem to unbrick it, even though there are procedures that explain it. So my question to anybody out there is: can you make a simple step-by-step procedure to unbricking the AT&T LG Optimus G? Please and thank you in advance and for your time.

Its not serious just follow this guide and you should be good.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090687 In hindsight, you should tell everyone when you root their phone "Don't factory reset!"
Hi all,
So I tried following the instructions from this post and this video, respectively:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277639
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyNtFP_TkKc&feature=youtu.be
After hours of fighting with it and not getting anywhere, I flashed back to v20f via KDZ.
However... my touchscreen is still weird, even though the screen is no longer inverted. Can anyone please help me fix this issue? I'd like to have my phone working properly until an easier method is found...
Thanks for your help
EDIT:
Actually, I found a solution for this problem in this thread:

I guess I should've searched a little harder!
Hello people, i have an Lg Optimus G E970 AT&T phone. The phone worked well until i uninstalled some apps with root uninstaller. I turned off my phone and when i turn it on it appears 2 LG Logo screen and then appears a 3rd with the message Security Error. I read something on the internet and it appears to be "bricked", can you please help me?. I'm looking for the KDZ file for my phone but i can't find it, the Original LG Firmware.exe doesn't work. What can i do to recover my phone? please, is allmost brand new and i live in Venezuela, so i can't take the warranty.

I had, this will help reflashing
I have an LG optimus L5 II Dual E455. For some reason the operative system failed and the android logo appeared broken when I tried to turn it on. I took it to a shop and they make it worst, now it doesn't go beyond LG logo.
I'm trying to reset the phone to factory setting via download mode, but the LG Mobile Support Tool doesn't help that much, it stuck at 4 or 5% and doesn't go further. I'm trying to flash it but it doesn't work either. I'm using LG Flash Tool 2014. I think the problem might be I'm not using the right .KDZ, I'm not really sure.
Can someone help me? Theres a better way to do it? Needless to say, I don't know a lot about this. Also I've never rooted the phone, not that I know anyway.
HI
Hello starfox3000
Needless to say, we don't have much data on XDA regarding our phone LG E455.
But i have compiled a few things here and there.
Please read the posts by slipsystem, they are quite useful for our phones.
The KDZ for our phone is V10D_00.kdz which is available at:
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW376985432109876543213/V10D_00.kdz
Its a file of size 516 MB. I found this on the XDA forum only and many thanks to the developer who gave the link(Sorry, I don't remember his name right now). I hope it works.
For complete guide to rooting the phone, please refer alley23 guide:

Hope your problem is solved soon.

Hello everyone
By happenstance, at the age of 67, I received for free my first cell phone which was a Tracfone Sunset L33L. I used Kingroot to root the phone then tried without success to which to SuperSU. After I was unable to do that I did a hard reset which failed and bricked the phone. Is there some ROM which can be flashed to resurrect the dead? Is my Titanium backup with the zip file any help?
I don't have much hope that a solution is available. When I try to do a hard reset the little android robot appears for a split second but it is immediately replaced by the LG splash screen followed by the Tracfone splash screen. I another LG Sunset to replace the brick but if I can resurrect the dead I can always return the replacement.
Please answer if you can.
Hi Whiznot
Not sure how your research goes but I took some time and could have a glimpse of information about your device.
Seems that your L33L is the below one, right?
http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-LGL33L
- PDADB gives it as LG L33L Sunset LTE (LG C50)
- At XDA, found low activity under the LG Leon Forum
- You will find that, at this AndroidForums thread, post #21, there is a aboot.img still alive for you.
- A Korean site with some instructions and links ... Please don't ask me any further ... Good luck translating that.
- Finally, just before throwing it away, you may try this.
Let us know how it went.
Cheers.
