Gesture To Wake/Sleep

the settings > accesibility > dexterity > wake on gesture feature works great on my phone, however i want to also be able to turn the screen off with the same gesture, why would they not build that function into it stock? stupid
anyway what other options do i have to make this work, the ones ive found on the play store lack decent reviews, eating battery, turning on in pocket etc.
Get nova... Get lock screen app... Have double tap feature mapped to lock screen ... Double tap on home screen .... Profit
Have you noticed any battery drain with the gesture motion enabled?
I have the exact question. Any way to lock the screen without physically pressing any button? I dont mind any gesture or an icon on the homescreen. If you click that icon, the screen turns off.
No drain .... M running the same on my nexus 5 and note 4....

[Q] Samsung S6 Lookscrenn zoom effect

Hello at all,
I have a question, is there any way known to disable the zoom effect on look screen for S6 ? I like to use black wallpaper for lock screen, because Samsung has OLED and is really black. But with new S6 came this zoom effect and black is now gray or shiny black.... if i compare S6 with S4.
I found something with "loockscreen_ripple_effect" modifying with SQL but only for rooted device... i looking for roottree way, like using ADB Shell (for deactivation of Heads up)
Is there any way to deactivate this ?
Thank you
switch it off in settings>wallpaper>wallpaper motion effect toggle (note drop down menu at top to switch between lock screen and home screen)

reduced line spacing in Settings menu (Cyanogenmod 13)

Hi. I just installed Cyanogenmod 13 (Marshmallow 6.0.1) to my LG G2 (D802, International edition from Finland). Here is some issues that I have with it.
- there is far too much scrolling involved in navigating trough the settings menu. The line spacing between options is much larger than it was in stock Kitkat 4.4.2. Is it possible to somehow reduce the line spacing and in this way get more options to fit to the screen and reduce the need to scroll up and down...? Changing font size does not affect line spacing. Changing LCD Density under Display settings does, but it makes everything smaller and I only want to reduce the line spacing.
- is it somehow possible to get clock, status bar, pattern lock and camera button all to the same screen? Pattern screen has nothing else than the pattern in it.
- when in silent mode and all animations off, the camera app (snap camera) does not do any kind of shutter animation (even white screen for a blink of second). Is it somehow possible to enable a white screen shutter animation? In current situation I am not always sure after pressing a button if the phone did or did not take a picture.
- currently the gallery shortcut in Snap camera opens AOSP Gallery. IMHO in AOSP Gallery it is too difficult to delete pictures/clips. Is it possible to change the shortcut to point to Google Photos Gallery...?
- do you happen to know if it is still somehow possible to get Chrome tabs to recent apps. I liked that feature but Google has removed it recently. I wonder if there is way to use it even in newer Chrome versions...?
- any recommendations for using Facebook messages on the phone? I hate Facebook messenger app.
- any tweaks for maximizing deep sleep and battery life are welcome (I already disabled location history)

full screen display

Is there anyway of hiding this nag prompt about using full screen display?
Some of the business apps I use don't support this option and on occasion I have caught the setting, the app then force close's.
I only get app's working again after changing in settings.
Anything I can do to hide or disable this prompt or function?

Force enabling split window apps - is it broken?

I have turned on the two developer settings Force Resizable activities and Enable Freeform Windows. But some apps are still showing a toast that they do not support split screen and refuse to even try. (screenshots attached) The built in Gallery app is one that doesn't work.
Are there any other settings that can help with this? Or is this just a limitation in OxygenOS on Android 10?
I really like split screen and am hoping for additional workarounds or fixes.
