[Q] my samsung Gt-i9300 facing critical problem - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

my samsung galaxy s3 device was in 4.1.1 fm and rooted with clockmode:good:. everything was alright till after i had hanged up a call of my friend and my phone turned out black.. i removed the battery and then tried to reboot it and it still stocking in boot screen if Gt-i9300. then i tried to enter recovery mode and didn"t worked. but my phone can be in restore mode, I used Oden to manually flash my fm which is I9300XXEMB1_I9300AUTEMA1_I9300XXEMB1_HOME.tar and it say either there is no PIT file or nmda and it failed. i downloaded PIT file which i found from the net named GT-I9300_mx_20120220.pit which is for 16gb and tried with odin it says wait pit for maping and stuck on that.. i tried another method talking abt how to unbricke my device with VRALEC.bootchain.tar.md5 and VRBLK3_Bootchain.tar.md5 with odin and it says FAIL ,,, my device can only enter restore mode only,,, i tried method using of CWM6023TouchVZW.tar.md5 in odin and is the only way that make response to my phone and the screen has blue line appeared when i had load the CWM6023TouchVZW.tar.md5 with odin, and i waited for 1 hour and my phone still with the same thing. :crying::crying:
please developers help me how can I tackle out this problem to be fixed..
i am really depressed and don"t know what to do to fix my device which is completely bricked now and only can enter to restore mode only and when i plug the charger no led light and my screen with battery only but always loading..
i am looking forward for your help

The thing is you flashed a version not meant for your GT I9300. You flashed the Verizon bootchain. Verizon GSIII is Samsung SCH-i535.
Different hardware than a i9300 (Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260A Dual core CPU, and the i9300 has a Samsung Exynos 4412 Quadcore). Sorry bro. If you still have download mode, you can try flash a i9300 bootloader. If not. you're dead.

perhaps a USB Jig may be of use to you in this situation to get you to download mode (Check my sig if you need a USB jig)
once you go to download mode, you can get to flash a stock firmware from odin
cheers!
By bricked doesn't that mean it's better off at a repair shop?
Since you can flash through odin. Tried flashing stock fitmwares? there's a site where you can download them.. Google.
Bricked ??? the OP may just be saying fully bricked without knowing .
Service job is paid for no warranty .
OP does not mention recovery mode .

just try to go to samsung center and they will give their warranty. because they can get into download mode too so they can check your binary count dude

You've bricked your device. Congratulations.
Only option is to get a JTAG repair or replace motherboard.
Why on earth did you partition your device? You have probably used a incompatible PIT file. Maybe next time you will be more careful or research things properley before attempting to do this kind of thing.
i dunno what is it with people and pit files. whenever i see a pit file i go like "hell no".
that's maybe because i've read a couple of threads like this.

[Q][HELP] S3 wont boot, wont flash.

My mother's s3 recently stopped working, its the Vodafone UK model i9300XXELLA 16GB.
I've downloaded many stock roms, but no-one of them get past "nand write start" or "There is no PIT Partition", i've tried 2 Usb cables, one samsung stock one and one i bought.
I've tried Odin 1.85, 3.0.4 and 3.0.7 but all with same results, i tried re-partitioning the phone but it wont go past "getting PIT file".
Its soft-bricked i think, it wont go into recovery mode or boot, when it does boot it stays at samsung boot screen showing model, i've tried using a recovery.tar.md5 but to no avail, i just dont know what to do.
how can i flash it to stock? it wont work.
anyone?

Do you have nand backup?
Do Not Bump
You have a damaged phone Nand .
You now require a service centre repair possibly a new motherboard if you want to try the |DIY route ..

Sudden Death Syndrome.
when you go into download mode look for product name . if there is no product name than most likely only a motherboard replacement can fix it . probably a nand problem. if the flash counter is 0 and there is no custom binary , current and system status official. you can probably get a warranty repair through samsung.
If the product name is there than you may be able to restore your phone by flashing an emergency rescue firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30087735&postcount=6.

[Q] HELP Stock S3 I9300GSMH stuck on logo, can get into recovery and download mode

Hi
I just got an Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 GSMH from a friend.
The phone is not stolen, barred or tampered with. It was bought from the samsung store in Hing Kong and is around 1 year old.
Its totally stock, no custom ROM and custom binary in download mode says No.
The phone is stuck on the Samsung logo screen and keeps flashing. I can get into both recovery and download mode.
I tried reboot system, wipe cache and factory reset and its still stuck at the logo screen flashing.
When I connect to Kies in download mode it says device not responding and doesnt play ball. Tried all the trouble shoot but still does nothing...
The phone is recognised by Odin 3.07.
I have not tried anything further as I want some good advice so as not to brick the phone by using the wrong firmware!!
Could anyone advise me what to do next? I am guessing I need to flash firmware in Odin.
Do I need to partition with the pit file as well?
Again I would highly appreciate some help and links to the correct firmware for the phone.
Thanks in advance
Mark
This is all p[posted in the faqs and guides ..
First in download mode check product code id nothing there you need a service centre .
Flash stock rom via Odin do not touch PIT .
Basics read first.
