Hi All,
I am from India and using the SII for last 1 year. One week before I installed XWLSN Neat ROM Lite V4.6.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569686) and everything was working fine.
Later I came to know that Samsung has released an update for 4.1.2. So I flashed the official stock firmware of 4.1.2 using Odin and then flashed the new update also using Odin.
Yesterday when I used the Check Fus app, I came to know that product code for my phone is changed to GT-I1900LKANEE from GT-I1900LKAINU. When try to check the CSC code for my using *#272*imei#, it is saying "Unknown Application" message.
Last night again I flashed the Neat ROM Lite v4.6.1 and now the product code is displaying correctly as GT-I1900LKAINU. Then I used "CSC Select" app from play store and able to change the CSC code to INU (India) from NEE.
Can anyone help on below questions:
1. How to go back to Official Stock firmware (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) from Neat ROM Lite.
2. On doing the above will it change the Product code.
Thanks in Advance.
Ricky.
Note: Please post questions in the Q & A Section.
Which stock firmware did u flash? Am guessing its the Nordic version.
Download stock JB XWLST for India, and flash it via Odin. You can get it from sammobile.com.

Product Code changed.
Thanks for the reply.
I am not able to post the question in Q&A section and that's why posted here. Is it possible to move the thread to Q&A section?.
1. Yes, I flashed the Nordic country firmware (XWLSN Neat ROM LITE).
2. Yes I downloaded the XWLST firmware from sammobile.com and flashed it. After that the product is changed as GT_I9100LKANEE. When
I tried to change CSC from NEE to INU, I am not able to do so.
3. Again I flashed the Neat ROM and able to change the CSC from NEE to INU.
4. Will download the firmware XMLST India firmware again and will flash it and then will update you.
Thanks,
Ricky

Hi, my sis is using SGS II GT-I9100G, she wants to update to stock ICS (singapore) firmware. I found this (GT-I9100_XSP_I9100DXLP9_I9100OLBLP9_I9100DXLP9) firmware and im not sure can her phone update to this firmware cos the file name is stated "GT-I9100_XSP" instead of "GT-I9100G. So can anyone help me out here to confirm whether i can just update via odin or not? Or is there any other stock ICS for "GT-I9100G"? Thanks in advance.
GT-I9100G does not has ICS yet
If not sure whether there is a fimrware update available for your phone check SamMobile or use 'Check Fus'.

You cannot. That firmware file is for the I9100, NOT the I9100G.
I9100 and I9100G are not compatible for firmwares and kernels between the two phones due to the different CPU/GPU/SoC.
If you flash a i9100 firmware on a i9100g phone then you will brick your phone, go for a custom rom.
Nevermind
ok, thanks guys...so i guess i have to put on hold without choice...
When I connect my S3 to Kies, it shows the following firmware : PDA:LH9 / PHONE:LH9 / CSC:LH9 (BTU) [Am running the JB leaks]
I bought my S3 internationally, so that is probably why the firmware is the UK version.
However, I live in India. So, my question is, when the official JB comes out, will I be able to update my S3 to that from Kies after removing root & resetting the Flash counter from Stock ROM ?? But will I also have to change the CSC code to India to be able to update from India or just flashing the Indian 4.0.4 firmware from Sammobile will be good enough. I don't really have much idea about CSC, so please forgive me if it's a stupid question.
Sorry, if this already been asked before, but I couldn't find any info upon searching.
Thanks
The CSC isn't relevant at all. You can go to http://sammobile.com or even http://androidfirmwares.net and look for the relevant Multi-CSC ROM. Now saying this is don't know what's the CSC code for your region if one exists but it won't make a difference what you flash because there's no differences.

Grab your stock Rom from sammobile original and why not new JB when it comes out for your exact provider. I'd flash it with mobile odin pro and keep everoot. Counter will be 0, status will be normal. Need warranty remove traces of root unroot and you're done.

Hi, first post, but have been using all the helpful info from the forums for 6 months now with my TF201, this is related to my new i9300. I'll try to be as descriptive as I can:
Black i9300 purchased last week in the UK, but currently has the TGY (Hong Kong) CSC code. I tried flashing to the UK JB ROM on Sammobile but came back with an unknown CSC error. Fair enough. I followed some instructions i found to get to BTU CSC code:
Flash back to BTU ICS
Flash BTU CSC package
Use Galaxy CSC changer to select BTU
Reboot, now with a fully working ICS build, and BTU CSC (I9300OXAALF2).
However at this point i wasn't able to find any official OTA updates and Kies told me that my device was not compatible with kies updates.
Flashed the original JB UK ROM I downloaded and now i'm back with the unknown CSC.
Any ideas? I've already tried flashing the CSC package onto JB and that's not worked, so now i'm really stumped. As far as I can tell i've removed all HK CSC codes from my device as it was happy as BTU with ICS...
Thanks
Hi all
Sorry for the noob question I have searched but nothing gives me quite the correct answer.
I have a Galaxy s2 GT-I9100 that i have messed about with over the last year, a mate of mine is going to buy it but would like it Stock, fully back to factory spec so he can use Kies to check for software updates and the like. I have flashed the polish 4.0.3 ics rom and all is good but when I connect to kies it says .
Your devices current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via kies
PDA:LPQ / PHONE:LPQ / CSC:LPQ(XEU)
I followed the guide on galaxys2root when I original did it using this kernel CF-Root-SGS2_XX_XEO_LPQ-v5.3-CWM5
The info from the phone is
Model
GT-I9100
Android version
4.0.3
Baseband version
I9100xxlpq
Kernel version
3.0.15-I9100xxlpq-cl223505 [email protected]#3
Build Number
IML74k.xxlpq.
I am downloading the UK/ireland XEU 4.0.4 rom at the moment if I flash this will it work or is there a stock kernel I have to load for this to work.
Many thanks for any help you can offer.

You have to flash to the stock rom, then it'll be unrooted like you just got it out of the box.

This has been covered many times my friend.
Steps:
1. Go to sammobile.com and find the latest firmware meant for your device and region.
2. Download the firmware and extract it.
3. Download Odin (any version would do) and make sure your USB drivers are installed.
4. Put your phone into Download mode and flash the firmware via Odin.

...or chack out my Guide in my signature if you are a newbie to flashing :highfive:
flash rom via odin
You're the 3rd person to suggest that in this thread. Congratulations. You win a prize.

Thank you but as I have said that my phone's PDA is:- I9100ZSKI3
and on sammobile when I search firmware for Pakistan (where I live) the latest firmware is Android 4.1.2 which has PDA: I9100XWLSD so How can I change the firmware as the PDA is different of the phone and latest firmware?
I'm sorry I don't know about these things, tell me what should I do? a help would greatly be appreciated
Just flash that latest firmware you found on Samfirmware. What you currently have on the phone is irrelevant. Might want to read the guides/tutorials stickied near the top of the General section before you do; I feel a busted phone coming on.
:good:
You have flash 4.1.2 Stock Rom via Odin. Then you can flash CWM 6.x.x and up any custom rom as you want.
