[Q] How to install windows 8 on I9300? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all.
I have an I9300 and I want to install a windows 8 on it.
Is it bad for my device?
If no please tell me how can I flash it.
My device is rooted and has Jelly bam 7.6
Thank you all

Mission impossible.
The windows source code is closed so no one can port it into 9300

Transfer win 8 and compatible sammy drivers to a tar file and flash .
Will it break your phone yes almost certain but hey this is development suck it and let us know how you get on .
PS if it works don't forget to pay the rather large licence fee to Microsoft .

jje, please use punctuation, your posts are hard to read. and why do you always mess up the quote tags?

Tough never did that stuff at skool and must admit never needed it to earn money .
Bit like my sums really useless except for counting folding stuff .
Oh and gone a bit dixlexic of late .
You block my posts and i will do the same will save getting bothered by punctuation .

Just get a windows phone then.
The most you can do is "apparently" get the windows 8 interface by installing a windows 8 launcher. There are a few in market.

Windoz 8 is bad enough on a PC, why the hell would anyone want to mess up their mobile with it?

I really wonder why you did buy an Android phone in the first place if you want to use Windows on it? It`s like saying, how can I install IOS on an Android phone? It makes no sense. If you want Windows sell your device and buy a Nokia Lumia.

Try this :
Super glue your battery in, uninstall flash player, snap off your card holder.

You can dowload iOS4 for Android here:

i have just seen this review/preview of an iPhone clone that looks EXACTLY like the iPhone 4 (it fits perfectly in iPhone4 cases) and runs a 2.2 Rom that looks EXACTLY like iOS4
maybe someone will dump it for those that want to have an iOS for whatever reason.

You need to search before asking or commenting. Search for the exact words I wrote Samsung slate 7 and you will see that it is an 11.6" tablet from the search results without even clicking to results.
People here are expecting a little bit of search before asking something. Because things can get out of control so easily and forum can get filled with garbage data. As you say so that needs management. Why not make a little search than ask people and use more resource

Android is also open source
Just because something isn't open sourced do sent mean it can't be done. If you have learned anything by now you need to. Apples os wasnt meant to be put on a PC but if the hardware supports it so it has been done. . There are talented people out there that thrive to done what isn't suppose to be.

Yeah, but HP didn't deliberately design the BIOS to exclude other OS's from running. MSFT has stated plainly that its Win8 for ARM will only run on tablets where the manufacturer has locked out other OS's at the hardware level.

Then you need to ask Samsung or at least give us the full specifications .Or try a Tizen forum .
If you want to flash IT then you flash stock roms via Odin .
But a big guess is you will brick the phone to a non fixable state .

I want to ask something that may sound offensive, but is not intended to be..
How do people who don't have any technical knowledge get these test phones? Are you part of a test program, or have you just purchased them somewhere?
If it's the former, how do you get on the test panel?
Also, how does Tizen run? You have a test o/s and are presumably meant to test it.. why on earth would you want to install Android? Surely you have your own daily phone as well as these test models?
I (Polv89 is by brother) have 2 Tizen test phone, so I would like to flash Android on one of it and compare them! This is the reason
