Hi. I saw a few days ago a tweet from SamMobile on twitter about the future update of galaxy S3 and note 2.
As the tweet say the update will roll out on June. My question is why Samsung didn't gave us a leaked firmware like 4.2.1 for testing? Maybe the tweet is just rumor and they are doing it to keep people focus on Samsung?
Sorry for my bad eglish
Hope you understand what I mean.

Because I am new at this 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 are the same based firmware? I mean 4.2.x is what version of firmware google gives as and x.x.2 is the version of the additional package Samsung adds to that firmware? Is that correct? You can hit my face if I ask something stupid!!
no, 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 are different versions of Android

Hi I saw some pictures today and I saw that 2.3.5 was flashed on a Galaxy S2,
so is 2.3.5 available for galaxy s2 ? or am I dreaming !
Greetz
Pics? link? would be first I have heard of this.......but who knows
Next Cyanogenmod nightly (will probably be released today or tomorrow) is already 2.3.5. There is also the Vanilla AOSP which you can find in the development section that it already 2.3.5. Don't expect any changes though. The changes to 2.3.4 concern only Nexus One.

It here galaxyfirmware.com/forum/install-android-235-gingerbread-xxki3-update-samsung-galaxy-s2-gt-i9100.html
It is already available but keep in mind that it is a leaked version for testing and not an official Kies release.
CM7 is 2.3.5 and is out for a long time now.

Nobody can. Its official policy to not share links to original firmwares, since it will put the devs out of work.
For that reason all topics about original firmwares are hidden and cannot be found using the search function.

Provided your phone is model i9100, and not i9100G, (check for your model number on the label under the battery) you can use any firmware from that link, including any 4.0.3 version. Instructions are in post 1.
If you have an i9100G, then you should look in the i9100G Development subforum for firmwares.
Firmwares and kernels are not compatible between the two models.

I linked you to a guide. I suggest you read it since the answers to your questions are in it. Sorry, I don't see the point of me re-typing stuff that's already in something I linked you to.
Hi all,
Where can I download the official 4.2 ROM for the i9300? I have done a Google search but I am not seeing many results and a lot of dead links. Was 4.2 skipped for the i9300?

Ok, seems strange that I can't find any information about it. I don't suppose there is someplace I can download the stock 4.2 ROM? Even Samfirmware doesn''t have it

Because it was skipped. There's only a test firmware available, but it's obvious that links are dead. But I'm sure you still can find it,search deeper.

Jelly Beans kernel..? What do you want to do? Update the rom? Then you can/must search. Update the kernel only? Then your phone won't work.

I'm ashamed to tell you this, but you sir, are the one who's browsing in the wrong forum.
And I hate to break it to you that Skipjacks was correct; this thread was posted in S4 & was obviously moved by moderators.

Hey! The title pretty much says it all.. I've seen some information online about the Paranoid Android ROM based on Kit Kat for the I9300, but I couldn't find an official download on PA's website. So, I've been wanting to ask: is there an official Kit Kat version of the Paranoid Android ROM for the Galaxy S3? Is this post on the International Business Times legit? (Apparently I can't post links, so I'll post the title instead: Galaxy S3 I9300 Gets Android 4.4.4 KitKat via ParanoidAndroid Final ROM)
Thanks!
