Well not to mention if you're on a GS2 the swiftkey tablet keyboard won't be compatible anyways. And some apps are being updated to not support this device as well depending on what you're trying to use. This is over 2 years old now.

I can't even get it to pull up when searching for it. It's weird. I know that is pulling the tablet version but that is not the problem. And i know the device is old but swift key still supports cm7 devices so that is not the issue.

I'm using the most recent Google play and I am not having this issue, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Try resetting Google play and services data and see if that helps.

Did you use a default build.prop from the PACman rom? Try extracting t and placing it in /system and setting permissions correctly. Then clear playstore data and cache. See If that helps.

Not sure, check the build prop for your current ROM and make sure that its correct. And I'm using Google play 4.1.6, which is the most recent which was released I believe earlier this week. I'm on the cm10.1 nightlies though.

I'm using the default prop that came with the rom. I tried to google a correct build prop and notice the only change, not rom specific, was this line. Where it normally has smdk4210 in line 40. Does this make sense?

I got it now. I think I had changed the DPI on the play store on the last version when I donwloaded the modded version to support. When I updated, I used the regular one and the DPI was still changed. I moved it back to stock 240 and everything is peachy again. Just need to get the multi dpi one. thanks a lot for your help... sometimes it's the little things that escape us all

[Q] This app is incompatible with all of your devices.

I went from stock S2 rom to MIUI and so far loving it. However, and this is just a query really, the other night I downloaded GTA 3 from the market.
Now, on MIUI when I browse the market, its not there. Going on the website, it states "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." Well, yes it is.
I know I can prob download it elsewhere, but I paid for this.
Is this cos of the MIUI rom confusing google?
Also, as a bonus question, how can I get a list of all the apps I installed recently.
When I check googles market website, it lists only 3, and I've downloaded like 30.
GTA III will show not compatible with Galaxy S2, no matter what rom you used.
You can download the apk from others. I downloaded it and haven't got any problem so far (Just sometimes the game is force closed.)
For the installed app, I think it will show only the paid one. Mine doesn't show the free app in the previous installed. (Not Sure bout this)
EDIT : Clarify my word a bit
It runs....saw it on drippler

The thing was I downloaded this from the market in the first place. It must of been compatible to let me download it? Because on this market its gone. It like they pulled it.

I think something is wrong, tried to download the natwest app and that's also missing from the market. This MUIU seems to be causing issues which is annoying because I love using it. Any ideas?

I don't think problem is with your Rom. I am using lightening Rom and I have the same problem with some apps I downloaded from market. Maybe its because the newer versions of those apps miss something to be compatible with galaxy S2 or maybe its a market glitch.

Its odd. They dont show up on my phone by going to the market on my pc just says it's not compatible. I guess the only way ill know is going back to my rom backup and see if it works.

Some apps are just not compatible with your phone ( GTAIII is an example, the developers haven't optimized it for SGSII ). You can still download any of those .apks elsewhere, and install them , chances are they won't work ( GTAIII does in fact work , if not by default , then by using chainfire3D). It's not, i repeat, it's NOT a bug in the market , or a bug in the ROM.
Edit: Solved it.

And suddenly I can't update Go SMS Pro (v4.33) in my Black i9100 (suddenly says incompatible) while it's normal on my fiance's White i9100.
Both international version, same ROM same installed programs inside, configuration, and version.
This once happeneded to me, maybe your DPI is not compatible with market giving you the error. If its changed return it to the value of 240
Nah, I never mess with DPI settings. Its suddenly like that.
Yesterday I can see it in the market and when it requested to update I just decline it because I wasn't in wifi area and decided to update it today but it now says incompatible. Weird...
While in my fiance's i9100 it downloaded perfectly.
And the build prop is stock. Also here's my config:
XWKL1 stock odexed ROM & Siyah v.12 kernel.
Here's my build.prop: http://pastebin.de/23354

I totally agree with what you said and i am facing this problem for the past few days. Pls help

Play Store knows my phone is rooted I think?

Ok so, I am running Liquid Gingersense. I have the new combo radio installed. I am using 4ext.
So today I am playing on the play store (PC version). I saw an app my wife DL. I wanted the app too. The play store said that the app is not compatible with my unlocked TB but it is ok on my wife’s stock TB. Why? There is also a post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1336245
This guy is saying that a game has shut down on him because he was rooted. Don’t know if there a tie between or it is just a coincidence. But why is an app ok to use on a stock TB but not a rooted TB?
Here is the app I was using:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webascender.callerid#?t=W10.
That app isn't giving me any issues running nusense.... The other I played for months without any issue.

Just to be clear. All I did was download the app and open it. I didn't run it for any period of time.

Yeah depends if the rom you're running changed the LCD density, or much more. Even the smallest tweak can throw off the market.

I never even thought of that. I did change the density a little. hmmmmm.
If you changed the density the market will make apps not compatible. Stock density is 240 and it can be changed I. the build prop.

Wait a little while. I think the Play Store caches information and takes a bit to forget or to force a re-check.
Check what the device profile and name are in the build prop.

Just download an apk from somewhere and bypass market.
Just search name of the app you want and put .apk after it in Google search.

Thanks for your guys help with this. I Just ended up flashing to the ODJDub's ROM. Everything is showing back in the play store. I am not sure as to what happened. Maybe a glitch in the Matrix lol. I did clear the caches and even went as far as installing an old market.apk. But Flashing to the new ROM seemed to fix it. It was not that I wanted the app from the store so much as to finding out that I was being restricted from the apps themselves. I do understand that the app store is device/carrier specific. But it shoild not have made a difference from a stock TB to a rooted TB. That was more the point I was psuhing. I did not nor do I ever like having the restriction placed againt my device. Is that not the reason why we aquire S-off?
I'm certain there was something in your build.prop that IDs your phone to the Market that was blocking this. Knowing your phone is rooted or not, I don't believe, can be checked beforehand. Now, once the app starts installing, it could check. Another scenario that I'm 100% certain of is when the app tries to run for the first time, it can check for root access and at that point, it can run or not run (and warn the user).
The Market can be finicky. My wife's phone runs Skyraider Zeus on her Thunderbolt and has for many, many months. Last week, apps that she has ran in the past now don't appear in the Market. Rest assured, she changed NOTHING in her build.prop file. I login on the PC and she has (2) phones listed, one is "HTC Thunderbolt" and the other is "ADR6400L". The ADR6400L is what the Market thinks is current and apps aren't compatible with that phone because they effectively don't know what it is...
I had issues with the market running skyraider and ikream. Themed markets will cause incompatibility problems sometimes. Maybe try getting LCD density modder pro and use their modded market.

Pocket Legends on SGS3

Do any fellow forum members play Pocket Legends on a SGS3?
I have massive issues with the game on mine at the minute where the game frequently freezes and kicks me back to my touch wiz home screen.
I've tried several custom jelly bean roms and a stock one and also ics roms and I still experience the same issues.
Has anyone else had similar issues, and do you have any work arounds?
Thanks in advance!

What do you mean? The game comes off the android market and updates are stored in the games cache which can be up to 30mb.
I don't think installing/downloading the apk from another source will make any difference...? Unless you know otherwise?

I play it all the time, no issues or heating that I can tell that isn't normal while playing any other games.

I used to play it on stock. However, im on PA now. I'll try to play and i'll give you some feedback.
I just did a fresh install of stock 4.2.2 (just rooting). Installed my apps and played GBWG for about 15 minutes. The screen freezes, then my N10 reboots.
I then install CM10.1. I installed Titanium Backup and restored only GBWG. Same thing, froze and rebooted after about 15 minutes.
I then installed Paranoid Android, and for whatever reason, that ROM seemed to work OK. I will have to experiment more, but I may have found a winner.

The Galaxy Note 2 does not have Android 4.4 KitKat support yet. Even the 4.3 builds aren't official as of the time of this posting. You should only install apk files compatible with your version of Android.
