hi guys I want to flash custom Rom in neo l
my neo l is new till now I have rooted it and installed cwm
and unlock bl
now I want to flash cm10 + turbo kernel
can I flashed directly or have to flash other kernel bcaus I read on some thread that direct flashing turbo they got bootloop and I am confuse
pls someone help and tell in detail

Seeing that you are not a new user on XDA,i suppose you know how things work here..
Kindly ask in respective threads or ask any general questions HERE instead of creating new threads...

I was not talkin about the mobile mate
But the thread in which it is to be asked
You do know how n where a new guy should post his questions if it were a galaxy Y right?same goes for every device

Hello I am a little confused in the various guidelines and procedures .. wondering some light on:
I state that I have .. xperia s updated to 6.1.A.0.452 ICS ... when I go to download the file server prerooted.img in XDA I see that folder there are two GB of KA PREROOTED while in the ICS folder there nothing .. so I wanted to ask but the guide and for those who have GB installed or can I flash one of them having already KA ICS? .. and if so, what one?

Are you saying you want root access and recovery on your phone?
If so unlock the bootloader -
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
Then you can fastboot an auto rooting kernel from the site like advanced stock kernel. Job done (there are guides for this in the stickies at the top of the forum)

First of all post in question and answer forum..
Second if you want to flash a pre rooted image then you have to unlock your bootloader, and you can find the pre rooted ics image in Android dev section..
If you want root and recovery without unlocking then go to the link in my signature..

i have already installed hd ultimate rom for my neo v [without flashing any kernels]
now i just found suave kernel for my device, i want to use my rom with this kernel so heres my question
if i flash the kernel directly are there going to being problems in my device? what should i do?
should i return to stock rom,flash kernel then install the rom again?? please give me some information

i always get the pop-up. "Unfortunately Keypad is not working"
i've cleared the data of keypad and fix-permissions.
but no luck.

just flash the stock firmware of your phone using flashtool.

you can use seus for flashing stock rom to your phone
this is development section

Download Xperia neo V stock ICS .587 firmware (Customized India) from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33295129
Now flash it using flashtool & root it..

You can flash stock ftf if you want...Its not absolutely necessary...Or youcan just flash an ics kernel and rom and you will be fine...
