I also flash back the stock rom again but it was no use. I tried also to turn off wifi PSM it kinda helped a bit but still lags . Im using Chrome as my browser. Pls help!!! Thanks in Advance

Hello
I am using broodROM RC2 on my sgs+ ( before i was using 2.3.4 stock rom ), and i noticed that on 2.3.6 version of android system internet browser stucks and it s not smoot at all.
So my question is: what can i do with it? I know i can use other browser but i like it
2nd. question: i have wake up lag, and it s very annoying. I tried seting min. CPU frequency 786/1400 mhz, but it didn' t work.
Someone please help me?
Hi all,
Scenario: got tired of unstable custom ROMs, did a full wipe(/data/system/cache) flashed stock rom (4.0.4 XEN) for my region. After setting up the first time ran Odin again to root with new Siyah v5.0.1. Got rid off Vlingo using Apex launcher trick(or Go launcher EX).
Now I noticed tonight I no longer have any home button lag with only the above changes to my phone. In other words happy me. However I cannot find any suggestions for any home button lag fix in Siyah's changelogs while the Vlingo assistant with it's annoying lag was present at first boot before kicking it off with the launcher trick. Now this used to result in no more Vlingo but still lag when pressing home.
Does anyone know if anything changed in the Stock rom 4.0.4 or Siyah 5.0.1? Don't get me wrong, happy with the result Just curious.
This is just from personal experience of using my galaxy s2 and by no means an expert...
But I never use the stock rom (with the exception of gingerbread) because anything after gingerbread lags like hell on my s2.
The only reason I can think of are the bloatware from samsung taking up all the hardware resources of the phone, thus slowing it down. Whereas I find most custom rom "cleaned" up the phone and require less resource to run.
I don't believe there is a problem with the kernel but I can be wrong!
If you are afraid of unstable custom rom, why not try CM9 stable mod? It has served me greatly.

This isn't about bloatware but the delay which was programmed into the stock to wait for a second press on the home key because of voice commands/Vlingo. In 4.0.3 deleting Vlingo did not fix the lag because it was hardcoded in the stock ROM.
I am having a weird problem with my phone lately. I am not sure if this started happening after i installed Jelly Bean (LSJ) and came back to ICS.
Anyhow's, the Internet and data connection both seem to cut off intermittently. It would seem to work fine and then i will start getting timeout, and then all of a sudden it will start working again after a bit.
Following is what i have tried:
- Tried Philz, Siyah and Speed Mod Kernel
- Tried Neat Lite 3.6 (ICS Rom)
- Tried Neat Lite 4.0 (JB Rom)
- Tried Stock Samsung Firmware LPC.
All seem to work fine initially and then the same problem.
Would greatly appreciate your help .

Hi all,
This is my first post and have a problem that I hope can be solved. Firstly, I would like to say I am an intermediate user with the international S3 (gt-i9300).
I am running Stock 4.1.2 jellybean which has been rooted. I am using googy max kernel 1.7.9. I have frozen most processes using titanium backup and i am barely experiencing any lag.
My problem lies with custom roms. Whenever I flash any Rom on my device the web browser and games will have lag. However, I am not having these lags on my stock touchwizz rom. I have flashed many roms such as cm10.1.3, cm10.2, paranoidandroid, Slimbean and all these roms lag ONLY in Web browser and games. I have tried numerous attempts to fix it such as installing as first rom and second rom. Also tried different kernels but to no avail. This is annoying as i would love to use a custom rom instead of samsungs outdated 4.1.2 touchwizz rom.
Thanks in advance.
Hi I wanted to ask you about a heating problem with my galaxy s3 .
I flashed the boeffla kernel in the archi port rom with android 4.4.2 , and I overclocked it to 1.6 ghz ,
I've done that with cyanogenmod 11 and have not encoutered any problems but needed to change to a touchwiz rom since cyanogenmod doesn't have hdmi capability
Everything worked fine for a month but after that my phone feels slightly warm when browsing/watching videos and feels hot playing intensive games like asphalt 8
I put the frequency to 1.4 ( the default one ) but it did not stop so I reflashed the archiport rom ( thought the stock kernel would fix it ) but it didn't
I even restored a backup of my phone in cyanogenmod 11 but it did not stop
I want to ask you for help since you are very good at this, and I have an extra question : Do you think flashing the stock android 4.3 firmware with odin will help ?
I am sorry if I posted in a bad section this is my first thread here .

It s normal that phone overheats. But if it overheats too much that s not good. Try to reflash 4.3 with odin and see if the problem persists.

Hi I have flashed the androis 4.3 and have noticed improvement
I dont have any heat using apps like chrome and xda free ( it got a little warm when I browsed with chrome with other roms ) and when I played angry birds go , it got a little warm when I turned the app and stayed like thst without a tempersture change
I included the screenshot of the time they used the cpu
I know I screwed up a little with overclocking but is my warmness when playing 3d games normal now
