I would like some advice from you. Should I buy a tablet from 10 "and I'd like the new Z4 but it costs too much. The Z2 find it on Amazon for about 400 Euros and I wonder if it is still valid, or as an alternative to buy the Samsung S2 Galaxy Tabs 9.7 "LTE or Galaxy Tab A 9,7" LTE or LTE Asus ZenPad 10 ... give me some advice?

I bought on Amazon Spain last black friday for 269 euros and I think that it works fine enough. The Z2 Tablet specs are similar to a Xperia Z3 and the Z4 Tablet is similar to a Xperia Z5.
I've onw both Z3 and Z5 and they are very similar in daily use. The Sony optimizations are really nice. So my conclusion is that the Z2 Tablet is a perfect tablet for this price.

Just saw this article about a new 6.44 display phone from Xiaomi......could be the Z Ultra replacement we've been waiting for?!? I like the 6.44 screen size, which has been perfect for me.
if it has onscreen buttons i would be very interested
but for now - Z Ultra
I think it is the first viable replacement for the Ultra. It provide 128 GB of storage + microSDXC, which is an excellent upgrade from the Ultra 16 GB. The AnTuTu scores for similar devices indicate a decent upgrade as well: around 80,000 which is a step forward but it is possible the 652 version will be even better.
The main question is 240 DPI operation and ROM development. Items such as softbuttons doesn't worry me since it is possible to enable them with the right ROM/tweaks. LTE bands are another question but I would assume a similar setup as the C6833 more or less.
I think the Max is the first device since the Ultra that can be considered a step forward in most aspects.
There is another contender in the works, though: ZTE Nubia X8, which promises up to 4K and a Snapdragon 823. It is worth to wait for it before making any final decision. As the situation is now with Sony probably out of the game (a Z3 TC successor would have been very interesting but nothing in that regard seems to exist and they failed to replace the Z4 Tablet), it seems like the only companies providing devices of the right category are Huawei (MediaPad/Max series), Xiaomi (Max) and ZTE (Nubia).
It seems to be a choice between a Huawei MediaPad X3/M3/P9 Max (i.e. new devices replacing the 2 series), Xiaomi Max or ZTE Nubia X8. Other brands seems to be stuck at 6 inches or smaller.

The only problem with the Mi Max is there are no LTE bands for the US. I was considering one as well. I replaced my ZU with a Mediapad X2 last year and it's still a great phone even without LTE here.
Look for vernee apollo. just for 299usd and you will get 10core cpu and 6gb ram and 128gb storage and 20mp camera.

I totally second this! There's something about the 6.4 inch screen that is perfect for everyday use and for watching videos. I can't imagine myself downsizing to a 6 inch phone.....my eyes literally get strained from watching videos on a 6 inch screen
The new Zen phone 3 ultra looks interesting too.
Tech tablets review is very positive

Please advice me what to buy. I want an android-without-google phone. With e.g. cyanogenmod, or any other. I am good with computers, and coding, but myself I have no clue yet about Android development.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) seems better supported in this forum - so perhaps a fully functional ROM will appear earlier? True?
But it has only 1.5 GB RAM. All specs here.
The Wiko ufeel is cheaper and looks like the more powerful hardware (e.g. 3 GB RAM), all specs here, and their marketing stuff.
But xda-developers.com does not even have a subforum for Wiko yet? Does that perhaps mean, it is unlikely there will be a ROM soon?
But both have non-removable batteries, which sounds really idiotic.
Which other phone would you suggest in that price range, with similar specs? For which there is already (or soon will be) a fully functional alternative ROM?
I am asking because I own a Sony xperia E1 (yes, I know, stupid me), and even after 21 months there is no ROM ready. This time, I want to be cleverer, and first check the forums, before I buy the hardware.
What do you suggest? Any hint much appreciated!
Thanks a lot for your time!
P.S.:
Another (much pricier, probably too much for me?) suggestion was the Sony Z5 compact, but after my E1 experience I am not a big Sony fan anymore... (?)
But yes, all 3 phones are "small" - I really don't want a semi-tablet sized telephone.
Hi,
Out of the three phones I would advice the Sony Z5 compact... it's an amazing and solid device .... By far the best out of the three. If you are reluctant because of the experience you had with the E1, relax ... it's totally different. On the very plus side, the development is quite alive for all Sony device and you will probably extend it's longer then the other ones.
If you find out that you can't get, because it cost double the price of the 2 others. I would recommend the Wiko ufeel.
One friend of mine have it and I played a bit with it. It's a solid device. Beautiful (yes it depends), smooth, fast. The screen is not that great (not to say poor). Main camera do a descent job, not outstanding. Battery life is average by my standards (better than my LG G3, worst then the OP2)
... But you will probably never have a custom ROM for it here on XDA. To get it rooted we spend more then 2 weeks ... finally got it rooted with some Russian forums (used G-translate to read).
I would never recommend a Samsung device ... never ever. BULL****.
Depending on you taste and budget, have a look to the OPPO A37 and Huawei P9 lite. I dont know which country you are in, but they should be available all over the world.
My rating:
1. Sony Z5 compact
2. Huawei P9 lite
3. OPPO A37
4. Wiko ufeel
5. A3 (2016)

I know , this why I ask my question here.

Android
Dex
Included Pen
memory card slot
They said that apps in ios is better than Android, coause it billed for iPad.
Dex is perfect just for some apps only
Ipados 15 beta still doesn't have progress bars for transfering files. Ya i would have gotten the m1 iPad pro 12.9. But Samsung gave me $500 for my tab s6. Also Samsung and amd have a chip coming out that's gonna have double to gpu power of the m1.

Ipad with M1 chip is superior device when it comes to share performance. So if you really need the processing power for your tasks, then go with Ipad M1. There is no other device on the planet than can beat the M1 chip that Apple has made. That goes for the MacBook M1 as well, beats the crap out of all Windows Laptops, even $2000 ones. And donĀ“t forget the M1 chip needs no fan for cooling, so 100% silent and cost only $1000.
However, if you want the best tablet for entertainment, normal usage of normal apps, best screen on the planet, 120 hz refreshrate, good dolby atmos speakers, 45W super fast charging and great DEX features, then S7+ is the bomb! Also I think the S7+ has a far better design than the Ipads.
Avoid the smaller S7. It does not have OLED screen, so blacks are gonna look trash.
Thnx , today I got s7 plus..... finally.
Where can I find a decently working Surround Shot software version for the S23 Ultra's camera? Shortly after Samsung introduced this years ago, they stopped supporting it and it's not even available anymore. Why? And is there a third-party version if not one directly from Samsung?
Support for it apparantly ended with Android 9 and the N8 and S8 series of devices.
Seems like cool app. You would think Samsung be using all the SOC power for apps like this.
Not much information on this. Getting it to work be a handful... at best.
