Is there any way i could get my phone Locked not Relocked?
I cant update device since unlocking and its really annoying...
Which CID? For updating, relocked works as well, but you need to have stock ROM installed for this to work. To add, you also need stock boot.img and stock recovery.img.

Can you please tell me what to do or atleast link me to post like this,because i have had no luck finding anything... :s
Why not just restore your nandroid backup if u don't have for your CID you can follow up this thread if anyone has uploaded

im on a custom recovery 1.5 s-on, my question is i want to update to 2.17.....
so i go and relock am i still running the custom rom?(myns)and if so why, and do i still take the ota even though im relocked but still on a custom rom? ive also read i need to apply the stock ruu, how is that possible if im not rooted anymore?

Ok, I'm no pro but ill try to help a little. I think if you relock you'll still be on the ROM you were on before you relocked, and you don't need to be rooted to run an ruu. After you run the ruu, you won't be rooted and it will be a stock ROM.

Ive never run an ruu, but if I did, this is what is do. Download the ruu.EXE, not the ruu.zip, to my computer. Then plug in my phone, then relock, then run the ruu.exe from the comp. I don't think it needs to be on the SD card. If I'm wrong, I'm sure ill be corrected by someone.

Relatively simple, sorry I am half asleep on my phone or I would have greater detail but that's the steps I've used 2x

I've heard about the Jb update for dx.....and as I know for OTA it needs stock recovery and locked bootloader and stock ROM.....I have UNLOCKED bootloader and have CWM 6.1.5 touch.....I want to relock bootloader and need stock recovery....can I know the process?? and will superuser be removed after relocking bootloader?

Install the stock ICS ROM (.RUU). You will have a stock recovery. Before you install a ruu you need to relock bootloader, use the toolkit.

When i connect to internet,phone asks me to download update ''2.20.401.5''
When i download it,and open it,my phone shuts down,and goes into bootloader.
At top it says:
*** RELOCKED ***
*** Security Warning ***
If i choose recovery or factory reset it flashes some sort of text for a really short time,but i cant read even 1 word of the text,because it just flashes for a mili sec.
Try to return to stock by flashing stock Rom, stock recovery, stock boot.img and stock kernal and relock bootloader it can help u....

Download supercid app from playstore. You can only flash recovery n boot.img which correspond to ur. Cid

When you relock you don't loose s-off, so after flashing the desired firmware ruu all you have to do is unlock again with the same blob you used to unlock originally. Then install a recovery and root again. It's not difficult, just time consuming.
Im using windows 8.1 and it doesnt support fastboot ... can i unlock my boatloader later?!?!?

I've done something dumb and cant get anything but a bootloop...
I can fast boot and get to recovery...
No booting into an OS...
I think I need to flash an RUU...seriously can't find them.... or figure out how to get it going again.
HELP...this is my daily driver....and I can't believe I mucked it...

What is your rom.stock rom or custem rom....try to Flash boot.img

Have you tried a gingerbread stock Rom?
Also, you can download the ph85img.zip from my viper Rom or arhd and put it on the external sdcard and boot into bootloader.
See if that helps.
Make sure after you flash the update, you go into recovery and flash the Rom of your choice. And make sure to delete the ph85img.zip from the sdcard so it doesn't flash every time you go into bootloader.
What recovery are you using?
4 ext is preferred for my Rom.

I didnt't try GB stock !! but i install the stock t-mobile ICS and i still have wifi problem !! even i cant flash faux kernal !!! I don't know why !!!

Ok... I bought it iran so it may be asian(i dont know how to find it out ),it is s-off,and has super cid ,the last rom i have successfully run on it was supersense4 i think, and i was installing the android rev v5 but it stuck in the middle of the installing(in aroma installer last step) so i put out the battery.I think that causes the problem and when i was installing the stock RUU the bootloader was relocked but now its unlocked!i have this problem on every rom ! And every time i install rom i use your PH85IMG(for bootloader and radio v info ) ... So what should i do now ?! thanks for your help♥

try the stock tmobile ruu (complete one) and use it for 2-3 days (don't flash anything else mods recovery latest radio nothing) to check whether it's a rom or hardware problem..

Just make sure when you flash a kernel to flash the modules came with it and check whether the kernel supports the rom or not

Doesn't one have to have a RADIO update compatible with the version of such-and-such?
I don't remember which such-and-such we refer to, but I remember reading about flashing a radio to match something. Maybe someone else can drop a line here.
can somebody help me, ive been searching for the update all day and I cant seem to get the OTA or manually search for it.
my device is re locked, and has s-off
can somebody help me get the OTA?
and if i need to get s-on, could you tell me how to do that?
(the s-on and s-off is the only thing i hate about htc devices, other than that HTC is pretty kick-ass)
