Installed custom rom, lost root and cant flash ftf image of any rom.

Hi guys,
I am stuck in a very bad sitituation. I have installed a custom rom, but after some time I came to know I have lost root access. My phone's BLlocked. So cannot install cmw recovery without root. I tried flashing official Sony Xperia sk17i 4.1.b.587 .ftf file. But I am getting error as FLASHING ABORTED and the device restarts. I am attaching the flasboot screenshot. Please help me flash the stock rom, then I will be able to again gain root access.
Thank You.

Download ftf from here http://www.mediafire.com/?s166qsg8qaaxc43, place it into firmwares folder(delete all inside the folder before). Flash in flashtools, then flash the firmware that you want
Have you tried to repair it via PC Companion or SEUS?
Well I tried flashing more than 5 times via different ftf file, getting the same error.

Reinstall flashtool and try (don't forget to install flashtool drivers) if the problem still persists I would recommend installing flashtool and it's drivers to another computer and flash from it. It should definitely work.
Click thanks if I helped you!

Try this... Don't connect your mobile first... Choose ftf in flashtool... It will prepare files for flashing.. Then will ask to connect your mobile.. Plug your device in flashmode.. Should work..
Sent from my WT19i using xda app-developers app
Yes, do it like rachit.rc96 said, don't connect the mobile first :good:
If this doesn't work, check the box with "no final verification" when you select the firmware and try it again. But if you do this, be sure that this is the right ftf for your device

[Q]Status 7 CMW

Hi guys,
I tried on my xperia sola "FXP147" to install. But this process was interrupted with the message "status 7". As I have previously tested other roms, I thought I could just use another. But even with these Roms always appears the message "status7". The only way is to flash with "flashtool" to back the stock Rom. And then Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v16, and then touch CMW recovery and so on. Only to read at the end: "status7"
And over again.
Can you help me?
I have a rooted and unlocked xperia sola
Thank you!
I'm from germany and use Google translator (;
Open ur cm9 rom zip and extract boot.img and put in flashtool folder if u hav its easy process
Then connect phone in fastboot mode and sel fastboot and flash kernel(boot.img)
And asfer flashing go into recovery now by pressing vol up button and now flash ur zip its done..
Press thanx if it helped!!!

[Q] Stuck on SONY logo screen....HELP!!!

Folks,
I was trying to install Custom ROM from here:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603919
After installing the ROM, now my Neo V is stuck at SONY logo and doesn't move forward :crying: I had backed my ROM thru CWM, but it won't even go into the recovery mode now. I even tried to flash the 4.1.B.0.587 ftf file using flashtool, but to no avail.
I was on a rooted but Stock ROM 4.0.4 build 4.1.B.0.587. Please see attached screenshots for more details. Please help. Thanks.
Resolved it myself by doing a repair thru PC Companion. :good:
power off ur fone ( remove battery and put it back again ) ... then through flash tool go to flash mode and select 4.0.4 ICS 4.1.B.0.587(FTF file) then wait till the flash tool prepared the frimware to flash then hold back buttin and connect ur fone to PC
Flash a new ftf file
Just reflash the stock ROM,using flashtool...
If u get any error in flashtool, then try flashing another ftf...

1) problem is solved! people, read replyes before you reply
2) is it necessary to suggest flashtool 3 times?

Not a place to ask such questions buddy.
Specify the kernel...in some kernel...idk which...the led doesn't glow to enter the recovery...just keep pressing repeatedly vol down key...you should be able to access the recovery.

first of all wrong section
the recovery key is not rom specific it depends on kernel and it is volume down key in almost all the kernels
download terminal emulator
and type in terminal emulator
su
reboot recovery
you can also use adb for it
KERNAL VERISON IS 2.6.32.9-PERF

Follow avinashrocks1990's method, install terminal emulator from playstore, type "su" (without quotes) and click enter it'll ask for superuser access then type
reboot recovery
Now if you have recovery installed you're phone MUST reboot to recovery

Inform if it works

Did you try installing cwm again? Because it could only happen because you are not having cwm. Try installing cwm again and tell if it is working or not.

Unlock your bootloader mate to avoid troubles on rom and kernel and put your queries in q and a section to avoid mess in dev thread.. Peace..

If u have installed cwm using x-parts then reboot your phone and when a blue led lights up,keep tapping the screen and u will enter cwm..
If led doesn't light up then it means that u haven't installed cwm properly..

You lost root because you flashed stock kernel. Upload a screenshot of about phone or else tell your build number.

If you want to change the ROM go to the thread of the respective rom and see how you can do it. If you want to change the kernel. Download any ics kernel and flash it via flashtool. If you only want to get root back check the sticky threads in development about rooting. Since you have unlocked your bootloader rooting will be easier.
Hit thanks if I helped.

Dude first download official Build 4.1 b 0.587 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1837398
and then download flash tool by Sony Mobile Flasher by Androxyde ... copy the downloaded .ftf file in firmwares folder
Press the Volume down button simultaneously while connecting phone with USB to laptop or pc and click the flash icon.
Pop up appears right away then choose Flash Mode. select the Build version .ftf and Flash.
Note: Before this download sound drivers for your phone. if it fails, u can also get it from PC companion. and copy all the files in Flash tool --> drivers folder...

Just flash the miui kernel. Usually it doesn't matter in what order you flash the kernel (before/after flashing the rom). You'd lose your data if you return to stock, it's useless.
