Can anyone tell me if the Verizon S4 suffers from the headphone audio issue that has been reported on other variants of the device?

I'm getting a strange problem on my note. I have a pair of inline mic headphones.
While the headphones with the mic are plugged in the phone's mic is turned off which is normal...but the mic isn't working on the headphones. Before you say its the headphones I tested the headphones with a call and voice recording on my sisters galaxy s and my old moto cliq.
Another strange problem. the phone mic also turns off when the apple non mic headphones are plugged in.
Are my inline mic headphones not working because of a hardware issue or software? I'm on hybrid with the any dpi tablet mod on stock dpi.
I'm not going to return this note because It's my third one. After two defective camera units.I'm not going to risk getting a more defective unit.
My current note is however having the known problem bottom right corner.
Any insight on my headphones issue?
It doesn't make sense for them to work on the outdated galaxy s and moto cliq but not my note...
Well I just bought my self an Galaxy SIII and I'm loving it but I'm having a little problem with the headphone jack.
I plug my phone everyday to my car stereo for music and there comes like this pop and cracking sound while I'm playing. Doesn't matter if the stereo is at high or low volume.
First I thought it was my audio equipment in my car but then I gave it a go in another car stereo with an different lead but the noise is still there so it is the phone.
Is someone else experiencing this problem or is this a faulty unit?
I tried searching for same topic here but couldn't find anything about this.

I'm having a problem with my galaxy A8 international variant code SM-A800F
The problem is primarily in the headphone jack prot in the phone (not the headphones themselves) and it's primarily an audio statics, I hear some hissing and audio statics from time to time, what makes it wired is that it's only showing up in headphones with built-in mic, I tried an old apple headphones without a mic and there was no problem, the problem appear in low tones when I hit sometime the touch screen and the touch screen gives the sound I hear some statics, when I play a song that is low in tone I hear the statics as well, what makes it also weird is that the statics and the hissing sound is reduced when I rise up the volume above the level that the phone advice me not to pass it, if I open adaptive sound feature and open personalize and listen to the right side I will hear the statics in the left side and vis-versa so what's the problem?
Is it hardware or software ? The majority of the phone dealers and equipments owners who fix phones told me it's a software problem
I love the phone but this is a deal breaker to me
But what do you see is it a software or hardware problem ?
If it was a software, which one should I install that could fix it, I can't root or update the OS through Odin, as no software is available for the SM-A800F international version of the Galaxy A8 if available, I was advised to wait for Samsung to release a new update that might fix the problem, but I just want to know the source for the problem

I noticed that the microphone of my Headphones does not work with my Poco. (AKG from Samsung S8)
But the Microphone works fine on other devices.
Is this a known Problem?
Does someone else got that problem?

I also get this problem tried with 2 different working headphone mics going to have to buy myself a bluetooth headset to use this
My poco can use s8 akg earphone without issue...
Using it for pubg mobile.

I have the same issue which is too bad because this is by far my favorite headset.

Hello all. Just got a secondhand LG V60 a couple of days ago. Really like it so far. A few bugs early on, but the only real issue I'm having is with my Galaxy Buds+ earbuds. When I put the phone in my pocket, my audio immediately starts to get very weak and choppy and I'm not sure why. Has anyone else had similar issues with bluetooth headsets?
So far, my google research has suggested
1. changing codec to SBC
2. disabling bluetooth A2DP hardware offload
3. disabling HD audio
Anyone know if those changes might help or have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
